Had another occasion to go to Big Fish and was not disappointed. While their standard menu is full of good choices, we seem to be most delighted with their special/seasonal menu. The Squash Bisque was fantastic! A savory take on a squash soup that hit all the right notes. Seafood we spread the gambit between Salmon, Shrimp & Swordfish. All were done well and we even took some home for another good meal. The only downsize to this Big Fish is the relocation of Marketfair's Barnes & Noble to almost next door. Now not only is it hard to get a parking space near Big Fish, but several times during dinner the bright yellow flashing lights of the Traffic Management truck floods the restaurant with a harsh bright lightshow as they patrol and manage the parking.

We had a group of 11 people to celebrate two boys' birthday. The restaurant is nice enough to hold our own birthday cake, and serve it at the end. The food is great. The restaurant has beautiful decoration. The environment is nice, very good for a family and friends gatherings. Price is very reasonable as well.

We didnt plan to go to Big Fish.but everywhere else had tried had 2 hour wait. I picked a reservation time 815.We were a little skeptic when we arrived and were seated right away.there was no one waiting. Once we were seated we were seen by two lovely servers. We ordered Appetizers and entrees and Everything was amazing . i got the lobster bisque and reef and beef. The streak was cooked medium rare as i had ordered it znd the seasfood was super fresh and perfectly cooked. My husband got,the ny strip since he doesnt eat seafood and it came with scallop potatoes and fresh veggies. He loved it all. We did not get drinks but we did say many options for wines and coctails. Happy to say we loved it and will be back to celebrate our next occasion

One disappointment was waiting for appetizer course, but waiter was apologetic and responsive, offering to bring our soup ahead of the app. Not perfect, but it moved us along. Food was very good, fresh, we'll prepared and of generous portions. Space was very big, crowd was energetic, but tall ceilings and lack of crowding made noise level quite tolerable. The name BIG FISH didn't prepare us for such a fine experience. I would recommend Big Fish to a friend.

The bread basket was foreshadowing of good things to come. The warm green pepper-speckled bisquits and herb-flavored soft rolls had my table of 4 asking for more. Our entrees were succulent, perfectly cooked and seasoned. This was our first visit, and we'll definitely return.

We dined here on a recent evening...cold outside but warm and welcoming inside. The prompt attention from the hostess facilitated a perfect seating for us. The server was attentive, helpful and provided prompt answers to all our questions, he was great!! The fish was fresh as were the clams/mussels my guy enjoyed. The dessert of a 'cookie cone' filled with Bent Spoon pumpkin ice cream was delicious. Folks at the next table ordered the same after seeing us enjoying our dessert. Thanks Big Fish

The food was decent. It had a upscale flare to it. I got the crispy duck which was prepared well, and accompanied with a pecan and sweet potato hash. My wife got snow crab legs, and we had short rib Perogi for an app. The perogi where good, mane seemed fresh made. They where accompanied by fingerling potatoes which where burnt, and odd tasting. Not a huge deal as they where not the main focus of the dish. The crab legs came either steamed, or garlic broth. She opted for garlic, and sure got it. They where great, but extremely garlicky. The waiter took a very long time to get our drinks, and food took a long time 40 minutes. This wouldn't be an issue if it was busy, but it wasn't.

Halloween...provided the opportunity for a great BigFish martini, good service, good fish & chips, and a lower than typical noise level. The only constructive comment..there was too much of a push for the loyalty card sign-up....even after telling the waiter we don't go there often. All else though...food and martinis you can count on....really appreciate the consistency.

Big Fish certainly knows how to cook fish and the oven roasted vegetables are great; they never conquered rice, no big deal. The Conundrum wine recommended by our server was worth the extra few $; very nice "pineapple finish" for fish dishes. The autumn salad special was delicious and generous portion. The loyalty club birthday gift was appreciated!

We found the Bog Fish located on the Marriott web site. While visiting Princeton with a group of 14, we realized mid week we hadn't made a res for dinner. Using open table made this very easy. The walk from the hotel was a plus. The food was more than we expected! It is connected to a shopping plaza and we had no idea it would be such a vibrant place. The bar in the shape of a fish and there are beautiful bubble lights that hang from the ceiling. The staff was ready for our group, even taking an extra step to make a kids table and an adult table. With many different palates to please, we were all happy. Try the seafood trilogy, or the seared tuna. There is more than fish, so do not let the name keep you away. Great find!

We made our reservation through the online feature on the website. This seems to cause some confusion when we arrived. We were seated at the spot that was shown on the online reservation but the the problem was that there was no server scheduled for the time we arrived. We did get a server assigned to us and she was wonderful and made up for the disconnect. The food is very good. We started with the lobster bisque which is worth coming back just for that. My husband had the Cedar Planked Salmon and I had the Big Shrimp trio. Both dishes were cooked perfectly. Big Fish is a good seafood option for those who want seafood but do not have have time to drive to the shore. The bar area is worth stopping by just for a drink.

Enjoyed the pre-fixe early bird $17.50 (normal is $21), choice was good and food was good. Creme Bruele was awesome! Drinks were creative and good. The Spicy Cucumber was really good. Great place for a large group, very open and doesn't feel cramped. If in the Princeton University area, stop in, you wouldn't be disappointed.

We arrived on time and we were seated right away on Sunday evening. The waitress (Lizzy)served water and took our orders for drinks. They brought the basket of warm bread to the table along with the drinks. We ordered Chefs specials for all 3 and had an appetizer order of fried calamari which was excellent. My Tilapia was fresh and was topped with shrimps. My wife and the friend has salmon fish which were fresh and delicious in a lemon butter sauce. Cream Brûlée as desert was delicious. At the end the waitress brought an ice cream cup with a lighted candle for our friends birthday which was a nice touch. overall good service and delicious food at very reasonable prices which I highly recommend to anyone. My husband and I had dinner here recently; we were impressed by our waiter, who was both attentive and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the food left a bit to be desired. Our oyster starter was just fine for the price, but our entreés were not as good as we expected fro the price. My husband's trio came out warm instead of hot, while my crab legs tasted as though they had been rewarmed after having been precooked. We expected more from this resturant, given it's reputation.

This used to be great and the food is still ok. Service was horrible this evening, and has been getting worse. That's probablyt why it was really empty at 8:30 pm on a Saturday night. Sat for 15 minutes with no service. Then a passing waiter offered to get us a drink while we waited for our server. He came back 10 mins later and was then our server. They didn't have the wine we selected. Earlier they ran out of the rum for the mojito. Then we had cold congealed lobster bisque on a very hot dish, it had obviously been sitting the whole 20 mins it took to get it. They finally microwaved it after 2 attempts to bring a warm one. Horrible. Parmesan shrimp was ok, nothing special, bad value for the price. Go to Bonefish instead.

Lovely evening dining outside..inside the noise level could present a challenge to hear whole conversations. The food quality is consistently good. The prices need to be reviewed by management. Competition down the road and competition coming to Marketfair will force this issue. A better value at the same quality will force decisions to be made. It must be noted, the service is great too. The food is great. It simply seems I'm more price aware with the options --- for great fish -- less than a mile away.
