Big City Tavern - Las OlasThis restaurant never disappoints..This restaurant never disappoints...the food is consistently good...the service was very good...they have outdoor seating so it could be considered a "scenic" view restaurant if you like to people watch while eating on Las Olas. It's not really a romantic place but I have been there before with my wife and they have sat us at the large semi-circle booths which could sit up to 7 or 8 people and that could be considered a little bit romantic.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMSecond time was the charmThis was my 2nd time at Big City, and my opinion is still high. The kitchen burnt my pizza, and our server handled it beautifully. We were also visited Twice by a manager after that, to make sure the 2nd pizza was good...and they comped our dessert. Their boneless beef shortrib was amazing as well as everything else we had. They have a good selection of seafood and wines by the glass as well. Service was great and all the employees appeared to be happy to be there which is great to see. Meat, seafood and salad dishes were all very good. Service was attentive and accommodating. Very noisy but it was possible to have conversation at the table. Good (not great) wine list, but something for most tastes. Have been there several times and always very good. Will definitely go back.
