"Dive Bar Spectacular - A great hip and classicly cool dive with decent food and an amazing selection of 400+ beers from around the globe. A few giant tvs for sports watching and the decor is best described as dive bar chic with collections of vintage beer ads, bottles, cans and glasses from around the world prominently displayed"

"You come to the Bier Baron for the beer. The food is much better than it was under the Brickskeller management. The menu is a bit light on offerings for those who are looking for vegetarian or gluten-free options. It would also be nice if the Bier Baron menu had recommendations of beer styles to pair with their food offerings, or offered more beer cuisine. However, the food is good. The beer menu has been weeded down to a mere 500 bottles and 24 taps downstairs and another 24 upstairs. They offer flights of draft beer where you can sample 6 different beers at one go. The environment is approximately the same as before, although they have made some improvements in looks and comfort. Service was attentive and very knowledgable about the beer."

"The place was amazing. Thanks to the incredible knowledge of the staff and the ridiculously huge beer selection, if you like beer at all, your server can help you find something you've never tried before that you are sure to love."

"We had such fine memories of the Bier Baron's predecessor, the Brickskeller. What was good about that place is now gone, replaced with noisy big-screen TV sets and dark, unappealing bar rooms. The nice menu we used to enjoy is gone as well, with a minimum of pub foods on offer. Such a shame."

"I picked Bier Baron for my boyfriend's birthday recently, and it was a great choice. We had a huge group but the waiter could not have been more patient, friendly or accommodating. He had great beer recommendations and even brought me some samples to try. At the end of the night, we had no trouble whatsoever with the bill, even though there were more than 20 people present. It was a great experience and I will definitely be back!"

"Usually the service here isn't great (we definitely had some trouble with our reservation), but our waitress was a peach. Very knowledgable, attentive and funny. We only ordered fries, but they were awesome and the beer- of course- was awesome."
