The outdoor patio on the roof has fire pits and is cigar friendly and allows enough space for non smokers to breathe clean air. I recommend you allow the waiter / waitress to assist in the wine and food selection. Many great Italian wines and the evening specials have always been a treat. On our last visit the owner took time to talk with us and share his experience in opening the restaurant, as well as its origins in Milan. Our server was exceptional as well. She was attentive, but gave us our space and time appropriately. We were impressed how well the experience in Scottsdale emulated our past experience. The menu and the food were true Italian. The flavors and presentation were very typical. We enjoyed a great meal and wine. Service was good but more typical of the USA. Didn't sample the wine list this time. The decor is beautiful cosmopolitan. Our waiter Micheali was most attentive, professional & offered suggestions. Both he and the kitchen were accomodating even though I requested dietary adjustments to my dish. He even acknowledged our anniversary. My tepid coffee was delivered by a novice, but this was otherwise a most enjoyable Italian evening out.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMAm very pleased and excitedAm very pleased and excited that BICE' is back in Arizona...my first experience was in the in Milan location...back in mid '80's...ahhh..the Tiramisu...Osso Buco, etc..3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMOur food was of great quality...theOur food was of great quality...the only thing lacking was some seasoning...such as in the veal milanese...great veal chop pounded down, but is was missing herbs and seasoning in the bread crumbs.....i would also suggest a balsamic type of dressing rather than a lemony one on the salad .
