A word from Bibi'z Restaurant & Lounge
In the quaint town of Westwood, NJ, Bibi'z serves up Westwood's exciting dishes and a unique ambiance. At Bibi'z, every dish is created using only the freshest, finest ingredients. We use NJ, NY or PA organic farms for produce, poultry and dairy. We will only serve wild caught fresh fish, since farm raised has been found to have many toxins. Our meats are the choicest cuts of grass fed Black Angus. And our global cuisine is designed to create a healthier way to feed our body and soul.

It would be our pleasure to pair your meal with an eclectic wine or recommend a classic or signature martini, single malt scotch, single barrel bourbon, cordial or beer.

We look forward to serving you a delightful meal in our exciting addition to Bergen County's vibrant restaurant scene.

Diner Reviews
  • "we were 6 people, somehow the server only put in 4 main dishes. The manager took 20 min. to appear at our table after my husband went to tell him that all 6 of us hadn't received our ordered main disches, and then didn't apoligize but blamed it on the kitchen and server. It took another 15 to 20 minutes for him to appear and tell us that he was taking the bottle of wine that 4 of the 6 dinners ordered off the bill. In all it was a VERY disappointing evening. The manager should have come to the table sooner and I feel taken off the two dinners that weren't seved together with the other 4."

  • "The menu had an interesting variety of choices, several with middle eastern flavors. Our server was friendly and helpful at the beginning of the meal, but was difficult to find at the end, when we were looking for our check. The restaurant is very attractive and tables are well spaced."

  • "My husband and I enjoyed a really nice dinner at BiBi'z on Friday. We shared the tuna app. I had Mahi Mahi and my husband had ravioli, both were great. The atmosphere is very nice and the service was great. Bar is also very nice, we might spend more time there our next visit."

  • "They substituted Mahi Mahi with a lesser quality fish. When asked about it they were certain it was Mahi Mahi. Being a fish lover I can tell the difference."

  • "What a shame. The food is really good here and even has a healthy slant that is so hard to find. However, the service is horrible. It started when we asked for a different table and was told it was reserved. We had a reservation too and it didn't really make any sense. After that, we met our server who was clearly overwhelmed and not warm and friendly at all. She tried to rush us even though the restaurant started emptying shortly after we sat down at 7:45. The food was good and I think I would go back for that but I have heard too consistently about the service being bad. It's time to address this!"

  • "We enjoyed the flat bread as an appetizer and I had a ceasar salad with blackened chicken which was blackened just right with the right spices. My spouse had the lamb shank which was a very generous piece and he enjoyed it very much. Our waitress was very alert and observant and always there when we wanted anything."

  • "It was great! Would absolutely come back - only thing is our waiter charged us for a 10 oz martini when I only ordered a 6 oz so double check your bill!"

  • "I went with a long time friend for brunch. Sunday brunch menu was very creative with nice choices. The food was well prepared and delicious. Service however, left a lot to be desired. Had to ask the hostess to please bring us some water after being seated for at least 10 minutes. Thankfully hostess just happened to walk by. Ordered drinks after the waitress finally came over. First course delivered fine and was perfect. Second course came, and we had no silverware remaining, and no time to say anything to the waiter. After a while when no one was in sight, I got up and took utensils off another table. We ordered coffee then our check came - no offer to order dessert. Would I try Bibi'z again - yes but not for brunch."

  • "Bibi'z has a very nice ambiance and the wait staff tried hard to accommodate our large party, but we felt the food was just OK, nothing great. That said, if you can manage to find parking, it's probably worth a try."

  • "After reading other reviews, I was excited to eat here to celebrate a belated Valentine's Day. From reviewing pictures of others' dining experience I thought this would be a great find. Typically, my wife and I for Valentine's Day go to the Melting Pot in Westwood, but reservations were full. Bibi's had a Valentine's Day dinner package which we ordered. The steak was delicious and cooked right. However, the broccoli and potatoes were still served undone. The calamari was great along with their dipping sauce. The drinks were weak, they ran out of the blood mary mix so we couldn't order what we really wanted. The champaign was flat and tasteless. Considering what we paid, it was overpriced. The restaurant's temperature was cold and drafty."

  • "We eat here about once every two months or so. The food is always pretty good with a nice eclectic menu. Unfortunately the service on a recent busy Saturday night was noticeably slow. The waitress apologized and noted the kitchen was backed up as the place was nearly full. The good news is that the appetizers did come out quickly so, while we waited a long time for entree's, we weren't starving. Once delivered, the food was hot and flavorful. I had the duck, which was nice and crispy on the outside while moist on the inside. This is the first time we've had any issues with service here so willing to give them a pass. will visit again."

  • "We sat at the bar, it was nice. Comfortable, good drinks, etc. Went to our table and after that it all went downhill. Ordered an appetizer and salad to be brought as main dish. Appetizer came first. We waited over an hour for our main course. Waiter came over and apologized, but no manager or owner even came by to say "drinks are on us, we apologize" etc. Over an hour later we asked for the check. That's when they brought the dinner. We left and paid for our one appetizer and drink. So disappointed, what could've been a great meal was just horrible. The only good think about it was the grapefruit martini. Owners need to either hire more staff or do something, other reviews seem to state the same on Yelp and on here. We won't be back."

  • "The food was good. I wanted Makers Mark for a cocktail, and was disappointed that they did not have it (it's a popular bourbon that a well stocked bar should have). Felt rushed throughout the entire time that we were there. We had one good knowledgeable waiter and countless severs & bussers . As soon as you put down your utensil they asked if you were done. As soon as the dish was removed the next dish was placed there by another server. As the entrée was removed we asked that they take their time with serving the desert. Surprise! They brought it out immediately. The overall dinning experience was not relaxing and enjoyable."

  • "The food was fantastic but unfortunately we got a waitress who was very new and didn't seem to have much training. We will be back and hope for a different waiter/waitress next time."

  • "It was restaurant week. They did not have a luncheon restaurant week special. The special turned out to be confusing since a good size salad was given, but then an equally sized salad accompanied the quiche. Too many greens! Topper was the quiche. We all (3) had the lunch special quiche, which the waitress said was the same as the nornal lunch menu quiche. Duh! All were burned, not just well done. When the waitress asked how the quiche was, the two women, being overly polite I guess, said "fine". I said my quiche was burned, which it was. My observation didn't seem to bother the waitress. Really, it seemed as if they had quiche leftover from the day before, and then over-heated it. Bye, bye, Bibi'z. Bib'z is off my list."

  • "Don't have much to say about this place. Overall left with just a mediocre feeling. Food was okay...nothing great! Service was drastically understaffed and did not pay attention to small things....hm.....water anyone. I did not have desert...just coffee."

  • "This was our first venture to this spot since it opened and we were not disappointed. We arrived early for Thanksgiving dinner (2PM) and were seated right away. The crowd was light when we arrived and filled in as the afternoon progressed. Service was well paced and at no time did we feel rushed. Great food and service will bring us back again. Happy Thanksgiving! :)"

  • "We go here regularly and the food is consistently good. The kitchen was off a bit this last time and it impacted the service. However, that did not prevent us from having an enjoyable evening."

  • "Big groups on Sat night - kind of noisy. Food was very good - nice portions. Service was inconsistent - clearing plates too early, leaving us unattended for long periods... Pricey as well for what it is - not much in the decor department and the maitre d was busy at the front bar area to help run the Saturday service."

  • "We first got seated quickly, after 10 minutes the waitress showed up and we asked to move tables (there was nothing wrong with the table, just that one side had a couch and wouldn't have been comfortable for eating). We were quickly moved to another table, but then we sat there for 10 - 15 minutes before the waitress showed up again. Another 5 minutes later we got water. The food was very good and the portions were a nice size. My brother ordered the cowboy steak special and it came a good 10 minutes after the rest of the entrees so they didn't charge us for the last round of the drinks. Overall, I would go back again because the food was really quite good, but the service needs some work and the space was just whatever."

  • "Good quality coming out of the kitchen, but things in general seemed haphazard (start with the borderline surly manager, poor timing on dishes coming out, a too-long wait for service). Maybe there needs to be some focus. Is this a Cougar bar, or a real restaurant? I'd give it another shot (maybe it's better on a weeknight?) because of the menu, but not a great first impression."
