Diner Reviews
  • "Bhojanic Restaurant is the place for me to introduce my friends to when we want something different and exotics. I could never go wrong with the Thalis."

  • "For Buckhead, this is the best North Indian-American food you can get. I've been here a few times now and all the dishes taste homemade and fresh. Also, the restaurant has a pleasant "swankiness" to it. There is a vibrant bar scene, live music and plenty of lively people throughout the restaurant. I will be returning soon."

  • "One of our favorite places for Indian Food with good ambience."

  • "Several people had recommended for a possible rehearsal dinner location. There private area only seats about 16 adults. Upon being seated our table had a huge spill below so we moved one table over. This table was so sticky even after it was cleaned again my glass stuck to table. The table next to us ordered coffee only to be told they had no sugar after delivery! Really? On a Saturday? When you see this happen in the front no telling how they handle things in the kitchen. We won't return to even find out. By the way the food, not so great but the dirtiness had already ruined it all."

  • "To celebrate my papa's birthday, we let him choose the spot for supper. His birthday present to himself and to his wife and daughter was this marvelous choice. Every single morsel that went into our mouths burst with flavor, and every part of the meal was splendid -- from the food to the service, ambience, and overall experience. We will come back for many more occasions and not just save it for special ones! Thank you, Bhojanic!"

  • "Tucked away in a strip of shops next to Lenox mall, this restaurant is outstanding! Excellent food. Warm and receptive staff. Waiters know their stuff - I recommend letting the wait staff order the food for your group - just tell them what you do not like or what you love and they do a great job with amount, variety and taste. Fabulous, overall. Glad the owner ( who is usually around and very gracious) brought Bhojanic to Buckhead - apparently it has been around awhile in Decatur."

  • "This is good, creative, Indian food. The menu isn't huge, but there are a lot of appetizer sized things. Service was a bit scattered, but the waiter was very helpful about advising how much to order. The food could have arrived hotter (temperature, not spice, it was pleasantly spicy)."

  • "This is a nice little spot tucked away in the corner of the shopping center behind Lennox mall. The food is great, although the selection is limited. Atmosphere is great, modern and comfortable, Nice bar if you are dining alone and a couple of tables for larger groups that are semi private but still open to the main room of the restaurant. If you like Indian beer, they have the 22 oz. Taj Mahal, served ice cold, it's a must. I've been here 3 times and love the place. The only complaint is that the service is slow, so be patient."

  • "I loved the relaxed feel of this place - like a comfortable dining room. I definitely would return to try more dishes. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable.""

  • "We came at 10:20 pm on Saturday evening and they refused to serve us although it was still open."

  • "Our waitress was great! She brought us gluten free menus and made excellent recommendations! We didn't feel like we were missing out by eating gluten free - everything was wonderful! Cannot wait to go back!"

  • "I've been to bhojanic twice. Both times the food was delicious. The only complaint was that they did not have some of the necessary components of the drinks I wanted to order. Other than that, the waiters were very kind and helpful even when every table was full. I would definitely come back again."

  • "Not the best or the worst. Food was on the salty side and service was slow."

  • "Had a great lunch, always a variety with the thalis. Love the chole every time . Had yummy gulab jamons too!"

  • "A former colleague and I met for lunch at Bhojanic last week and thoroughly enjoyed our food and conversation. The staff is professional and the food tasty. I highly recommend Bhojanic for lunch or dinner. To top it off, this location is conveniently across from Lenox mall near Paper Source and Lululemon. The lunch specials allow you to taste a number of dishes which is nice."

  • "We tried Bhojanic in Buckhead for the first time last night and really liked it. Spicey, delicious Indian food at a great price. I think our total bill for two was only $50 + tip. Unheard of for Indian! I loved the little tapas portions they offer as well as the full meal thalis. Gives customers a great way to try a lot of different things on the same evening. Nice cocktails too. I noticed several reviewers have mentioned the service, but we found our servers to be very attentive.Overall, we were very happy with everything and can't wait to go back! Looks like they have a really great area for outdoor dining, so we'll be glad to try that once it warms up."

  • "On a Saturday night, Bhojanic was packed, loud, and delicious. It's taking updated Indian food and dropping it into a casual dining setting. There was a wide range of diners there, from young tweeners to people of Indian origin who looked like they know a good thing. We will definitely go back and try more of the many menu options."

  • "I usually go to the one in Decatur, but was going to be in Buckhead, so opted to go to the new location for lunch. The food is fantastic. The restaurant is nicely decorated, but the service was slow. We waited several minutes before we were even greated. It was not busy at the time we went, so I am not sure what the problem was. Our waitress was nice, but very slow to refill our waters. My water was not refilled till I was almost done eating. The good was delicious! Just like I'm Decatur. I would suggest this location to anyone who frequents buckhead, but the Decatur location is better."

  • "Very limited menu for an Indian restaurant. For someone who is lactose intolerant, there is barely anything to eat. Given the rave reviews it was given previously, I was disappointed"

  • "This restaurant is hidden from the main street, so I would have never known about it, unless I were someone who shops at Crate & Barrel, which is right next to it. The food was great. I went with a group of friends (there were 4 of us). The seating is pretty tight at tables, but the booths had more space. We went on Valentine's day and the dim lighting and sleek decor gave it a romantic feel, along with the smooth music the live band was playing. Definitely recommend this place for very small groups or dates."

  • "I booked a table at the last minute (5 hours before my reservation time) and, upon my arrival my date and I had no issues being seated. We were then promptly greeted by a waiter who, once we were seated promptly took our food and drink orders. Everything from the milk hand stout (the beer I ordered), two mango martinis (my date) to the myriad tapas were fantastic. While I can't say whether or not the food was authentic (never been to India nor am I Indian), the experience was truly unique and I would recommend it to anyone, especially if you're looking for good food on a budget."

  • "It was our first time there and didn't know what to expect. We explained that to our server. The server did her best, I guess, to explain the food choices but failed to tell us the food is really spicy. I couldn't eat any of my food. Luckily, I only ordered tapas or my night would have been a waste."

  • "Me and my wife were really impressed by the biryani. Its like back home. I just gave three stars on food since we also ordered samosa chat and indian chai. Samosa chat was too dull. We were in mood for something spicy but were really disappointed with the chat. Indian chai had too much masala/ginger - didn't appeal to my tasted buds. Thats just me. You might like it - i would suggest you to give it a shot."

  • "Having only been to Bhojanic in Decatur area, this was a nice adddition to Buckhead. Great decor, love the floor paint and wood on the walls. Food is just as good and the open bar scene is a great hangout. Will definitely come back here."

  • "This restaurant is one of the most authentic Indian restaurant in Atlanta region. The food is really good and so is the ambiance. Every time we have Indian friends in the city we make sure that we take them to this restaurant. On the flip side, the service is terribly slow - especially during lunch. It takes them 25 minutes to brew tea and 30 minutes to bill you after you finish your food."

  • "1) Very good price 2) Menu and combination items (thali) was great 3) 1.25 desert is excellent choice for people who likes only a bite of desert for reasons 4) Food was spicy and could have been made little milder 5) Side salad in the thali was very small. 6) Wine selection was great."

  • "We're regulars and eat here 2-3 times a month. Consistently the best Indian food we've found in greater ATL. The Bhojanic Shrimp and Chicken 65 with a mango lassi are required! Always good. Tried the scallop curry last night. Not my favorite way to prepare scallops but still a pleasant dining experience. Go on Monday's and save a few bucks on the wine. Do wish they'd offer reward points for open table..."

  • "Wanted to try the newer location in Buckhead. Ambiance was a little more trendy, so I kind of prefer the Decatur one. Food was better than the last time though."

  • "My family and I visit Bhojanic's pretty frequently, but we've developed a strong preference for the Emory location. I'm not sure why, but the food at Bhojanic's Lenox is not as flavorful."

  • "Bhojanic serves consistently excellent Indian food and interesting cocktails. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. A favorite is Shrimp Bhojanic which is always perfectly prepared and so flavorful!"

  • "The food here never disappoints. We have a personal challenge to eat the whole tapas menu in one sitting - I look forward to that immensely."

  • "The best Indian food! So flavorful!! It was so delish, my boyfriend and I got ordered the same dinner for take out the next night. The server was educated on the menu and knew alternatives for our picky ordering. I will be eating there a lot in the future."

  • "The first time I went there, the service was poor and I did not write a review as I felt they just needed some time to get the kinks straightened out. I was right. This time, from beginning to end everything was as it should be. Welcomed with a smile, seated immediately and attended to beautifully.. AND, the food was terrific. Among the best Indian food I have had in 16 years in Atlanta. So do not hesitate to make this your "go to" place for just about all occasions. You will not be disapointed."

  • "While the options might not be as plentiful as other Indian restaurants I have found the quality to be consistent and flavors to really stand out. The live music on Fridays is especially enjoyable!"

  • "This was my first experience with Indian food and I took a good friend who is from India to guide me thru choices. It was the first time I tried goat meat and I loved it! The ambiance was great for lunch...the wait staff was inviting, knowledgeable and helpful. I enjoyed the Tandoori chicken which I have seen made on the food channel and it was so delicious. My guest said it was the best he has tried so far in the Atlanta area!! I would recommend it to newbies....a great experience!"

  • "We went to Bhojanic on a Friday night. It was rainy outside, and the warm space provided a nice respite. There was excellent live music that was not overpoweringly loud, pretty good food and a vibrant atmosphere. The server, though, was slow and inattentive. The food was a bit heavy, even for Indian food, but I have no real complaints. If you are at one of the malls and want something better than food court fare, it's worth a stop."
