I hosted a lunch for 8 ladies. I requested that 7 bills be tallied up to eliminate the birthday person. This was done to perfection. I also requested a dessert to share and that too was done. I would recommend the restaurant at any time--all went well and everyone is very friendly.

Betty's has a fantastic Happy Hour. Thursday has free wine tasting and as always great HH specials. We came during HH and the place was packed, reservations help out tremendously. We stayed until 9pm enjoying the large variety of small plates. The wine is reasonable but rather limited. The manager told us they are constantly rotating their wine selections.

After being seated, 10-15 minutes went by and no one comes to our table. I brought this to the manager's attention and we soon had a server who apologized for the delay took our order. Ordered the Sunday special and were looking forward to it. Our server told us several times that our meal would be ready soon, but that never happened. After about 20 minutes, still no meal. At about the same time, a couple was seated next, and within 10-15 minutes they are served the very special we ordered. Unbelievable! We've now been there for 45+ minutes and no meal. We inform the manager of what has occurred and we no longer wish to dine there. No apology, explanation, etc. Also sent an email via the website, no apology to date.

Tried Betty's for the first time for restaurant week. The steak was pretty good (didn't care for the brandy wine sauce and I wrongly assumed that there would be more sauteed mushrooms on top, as this is a mushroom bar). I was wowed by the stuffed mushrooms- looking forward to trying all of the options. :)

It is always exciting to find someplace that has a unique menu, and even better when everything tastes so good. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and the acoustic music by David Sheehy was perfect for those who wanted to listen but not too loud for those who were more interested in conversation. Even though it is a long drive for us, we will be back the next time Sheehy is playing there.

This was our third visit to Betty's, and the experience will be repeated. The food is terrific - fresh, seriously seasoned, nicely presented. My margherita flatbread was much better than many I have had at specialty pizzerias; my partner's cannelloni was tasty, attractive, and more than any one person should eat. The wine choices are plentiful and interesting, the pours are generous, and during Happy Hour the prices are almost too inviting. On our first visit, Arizona wines by the bottle were available at half-price, an unexpected introduction to a previously untried treat. The place is noisy, but given the quality of the cuisine and the attentiveness of the staff, that is a minor consideration.

When we got there, the place seemed pretty nice, but with the live music which wasn't all that it made it pretty loud. The hostest was great, but after that it just went downhill. It took 20 mins to just get water, our waiter came by ask if we wanted appeticers and when we said no, she turned around and walked away and said I'll be back, even though we wee ready to order. She came back 10mins later with water. We ordered our food and drinks. Took 15 mins to get our drinks and 45 mins for our food. My chicken Marsala was cold and flavorless and the crap and shrimp cannelloni was terrible. The only thing worth while was the mushrooms we ordered. I hate leaving bad reviews, but over all this was a bad going out experience.

We tried Bettys Nosh due to it was featured on a local show call "Check Please" which patrons can submit a restaurant of choice and the program will send diners to experience the establishment and provide their ratings on the show which airs weekly. We happen to catch the show which featured the restaurant and liked what we saw however as per the videos it showed pictures of some of the meals which looked very appetizing but when we were at the restaurant the menus did not have pictures of the food items available, not even the mushroom specials and it was hard to order not knowing what they would look like, suggest that a few pictures be provided on the menus, otherwise I agree with the shows reviews of the restaurant.

Good selection of stuffed mushrooms...a bit pricey...we wouldn't have been filled up, tho...$24 for 8. Our friends ordered a salad as we did. They asked for theirs split in the kitchen...their salads were double the size of ours...again, for $12, I expected a salad larger than what we received. They brought the mushrooms first and I asked for salads first...I mean don't most people have their salads before their entree? The servers were attentive regarding the water glasses and processing the checks...I think it probably was because the place was filled and they wanted our table.

Service is absolutely horrible there. Went on a Saturday night and they didn't even have a host. Our server was okay, nothing special. Ordered the chicken Marsala which was cold, the Gus Gus flatbread, bruschetta, and mahi mahi tacos, which were all subpar. They have small portions and all that food set us back $60. Not worth the price in my opinion.

Food wasn't terrific. The bruchetta was served on too large of rolls. Everything fell off once you take a bite. Food wasn't seasoned enough. Just overall bland. Maybe that works for some people's palate but if you like a lot of flavor like myself this place isn't for you.

We love this place for the mushrooms and other small plates. Rvery other experience has been top notch. We came for the advertised summer lobster special for Sunday niight. The service was great as usual as were the wines, but the lobster special which was meant to be shared, was a bit small. If we were to come for this event again, I would start with a mushroom appetizer and then share the lobster with my honey. It was a bit bland but maybe that is typical for East Coast lobster boils. I went home hungry, however.

what a disappointment. We thought we would try it based on the reviews from Check Pleaseon Channel 8. One of the main reasons was during the review on the show it was stated they accommodate vegans. Knowing being vegan is difficult to many main stream restaurants i am always open to trying one when they are conscious to the fact of a vegans diet limitations. The only "vegan" item they had on the menu was a black bean burger which the waitress stated they were out of and besides it had cheese mixed in it. The waitress was very non descriptive when asked about different items on the menu and seemed put off we were even there, needless to say we left without ordering and won't be back!

The meal was good, but we almost canceled our desert because the wait was so long. When the desert finally came the server explained that the bag for my tea had just been delivered and that I was "lucky". When I go out to eat I don't go to concern myself with the difficulties of the kitchen, and I certainly don't consider myself luck to get what I order. My mother and I both paid in cash, and when our server came to take the checks she took my mother's and said "are we good?" My mother did want her change and was taken aback, the server repeated the question and my mother hesitantly said yes and the server said "Great, thanks!" and breezed away, strong-arming her way into a 40% tip for sub-par service.
