  • "Good selection of stuffed mushrooms...a bit pricey...we wouldn't have been filled up, tho...$24 for 8. Our friends ordered a salad as we did. They asked for theirs split in the kitchen...their salads were double the size of ours...again, for $12, I expected a salad larger than what we received. They brought the mushrooms first and I asked for salads first...I mean don't most people have their salads before their entree? The servers were attentive regarding the water glasses and processing the checks...I think it probably was because the place was filled and they wanted our table."

  • "Service is absolutely horrible there. Went on a Saturday night and they didn't even have a host. Our server was okay, nothing special. Ordered the chicken Marsala which was cold, the Gus Gus flatbread, bruschetta, and mahi mahi tacos, which were all subpar. They have small portions and all that food set us back $60. Not worth the price in my opinion."

  • "Food wasn't terrific. The bruchetta was served on too large of rolls. Everything fell off once you take a bite. Food wasn't seasoned enough. Just overall bland. Maybe that works for some people's palate but if you like a lot of flavor like myself this place isn't for you."

  • "We love this place for the mushrooms and other small plates. Rvery other experience has been top notch. We came for the advertised summer lobster special for Sunday niight. The service was great as usual as were the wines, but the lobster special which was meant to be shared, was a bit small. If we were to come for this event again, I would start with a mushroom appetizer and then share the lobster with my honey. It was a bit bland but maybe that is typical for East Coast lobster boils. I went home hungry, however."

  • "what a disappointment. We thought we would try it based on the reviews from Check Pleaseon Channel 8. One of the main reasons was during the review on the show it was stated they accommodate vegans. Knowing being vegan is difficult to many main stream restaurants i am always open to trying one when they are conscious to the fact of a vegans diet limitations. The only "vegan" item they had on the menu was a black bean burger which the waitress stated they were out of and besides it had cheese mixed in it. The waitress was very non descriptive when asked about different items on the menu and seemed put off we were even there, needless to say we left without ordering and won't be back!"

  • "The meal was good, but we almost canceled our desert because the wait was so long. When the desert finally came the server explained that the bag for my tea had just been delivered and that I was "lucky". When I go out to eat I don't go to concern myself with the difficulties of the kitchen, and I certainly don't consider myself luck to get what I order. My mother and I both paid in cash, and when our server came to take the checks she took my mother's and said "are we good?" My mother did want her change and was taken aback, the server repeated the question and my mother hesitantly said yes and the server said "Great, thanks!" and breezed away, strong-arming her way into a 40% tip for sub-par service."

  • "We were there on Father's Day for breakfast. Neither my husband or I are big eaters, so we were shocked when there were only 2 choices if you didn't want to partake in the $28 brunch! You basically could choose from a $17 chef salad or $17 steak and eggs! We were not impressed with the limited offerings. Neither of the other 2 options were very large, but since we are small eaters, we took some home. We did get to try something from the dessert table, and while pretty, they were meh. We will try Betty's Nosh again but will come for lunch next time, so we can see what their typical meals are like."

  • "We had a party of 9 come in for happy hour on a Thursday eve. We took advantage of the wine tasting that was offered. Then hit up the happy hour menu and took down a variety of stuffed mushrooms and then followed up with cannelloni's. Great food and atmosphere. Kids menu was quality too. Will definitely go back."

  • "We went to Mother's Day brunch at Betty's. We went there for Father's Day last year and enjoyed it. They are known for their stuffed mushrooms, which are not to be missed. They had a nice variety of breakfast/lunch items on their brunch menu and the prices are affordable. The crabcake benedict was very good, but we got it cold. They forgot the mashed potatoes on two of our orders, but ended up bringing them out separately. My mom's egg white omelet was delicious and warm. It was a little crowded and noisy where we were, with a large party behind us. All in all, I like Betty's and we will be back."

  • "We tried Betty's Nosh for the first time on Mother's Day which was probably our first mistake. The noise level was unbearable! ( I would have rated it higher than I could on this app). Our waitress must have been a friend pressed into service for the day because she was clearly without experience. We waited almost an hour for our food. When it arrived, it was lukewarm at best. The poached eggs were really hard boiled - worse Eggs Benedict we've ever had. For the $$$, we were extremely disappointed. Cannot recommend this place."

  • "Last Saturday, we enjoyed a luncheon and celebration with 8 women. The staff went out above and beyond to provide us with a comfortable table, wonderful food selections all at a very reasonable price, and excellent service. I had never been there before and the reservations were handled via their website. I could not have been more pleased with how our event turned out! I would highly recommend Betty's Nosh."

  • "Brought friends for the first time on a Friday evening. I had been very impressed with this place when I had lunch the week before. We had the Mushroom Sampler after splitting a Betty's Signature salad. The food was everything and more. Our waitress was very nice but neglectful. We had to get up and find somebody to ask for the big spoons to scoop out the mushrooms and were told they may not have enough. Another wait staff brought only two and literally tossed them on the table. Then the music started (we were not expecting this) and it ruined the rest of our conversation. It was VERY loud even though we were sitting outside. We will return but never on a night when there is music. "

  • "This was my 3rd visit to Betty's Nosh and I don't think I will be going back. The food is just OK. I had the Shrimp Scampi which was watery and needed seasoning. There was live music (he was fantastic!) but no one was really paying attention, which was a shame. We were sat by the kitchen which permiated a dirty dishrag smell. We wanted to stay to enjoy the music but ended up corking the wine and leaving."

  • "Easter Brunch reservations for 1:30, finally seated at 2:00. Plenty of empty tables inside, were seated outside in the heat. Waited 10 minutes for a server to take our drink order, another 10 minutes before drinks arrived. We all knew what we wanted by then, but waited at least 15 more minutes for server to return to take our order. 30 minutes after ordering, food arrived cold and virtually tasteless. Billed as family friendly, yet other diners gave nasty stares because our 3 young children were hot, thirsty, hungry, and tired because of the time involved to get our meal. Our little one, 2/y, became so hot he was red. A server, not our own, took him somewhere before we could even find out her name. Very troubling. Not again, ever."

Their stuffed mushrooms are always amazing and their brunch was no different. $3 Mimosas and Bloody Mary's were great as well. I would recommend this any night of the week! "

A 3 hour Happy Hour with excellent low prices and live entertainment on a Saturday started our evening off right. Service was highly attentive and very friendly and informative.   • "I went for the prime rib but you were out of the prime ribby 6 o'clock only thing I would suggest is that maybe you should offer a substitution or give a discount on the check. Our server Sydney she was great give us a lot of suggestions. I love the mushroom bar menu mushrooms are one of my favorite foods to eat looking forward to trying the omelette bar and Sunday brunch thinking about bringing my mother there for Mother's Day."

  • "I have heard good things about this place. I liked the atmosphere, there was a live band that was pretty loud but once moving outside, it was nice to have some entertainment. I don't have a good thing to say about the food that evening but maybe it was just a bad night in the kitchen but it was not busy, so not sure why. I was looking forward to the mushroom options which looked great. The one I happened to try was very bland. I also ordered the ziti (they were out of penne noodles) so my guest and I both had a chicken dish, The chicken was very dry, both of our veggies were mush, potatoes had a ton of cream in them (otherwise good flavor) and my food was swimming in water. The waitress was very apologetic. I will give it another try."

  • "We celebrated my daughter's 25th birthday here and really had a great time. We were in a room by ourselves with a party of 8, two of who were 1and 2 years old. We had mushrooms and wine and then ordered dinner. I had the salmon which was not overlooked like so many other restaurants I've been to. Everyone liked their food. The server was not attentive at first, but after my Said something to him about it he really changed his tune and redeemed himself. Overall, it was a great night and I would go back again."

  • "We met there with some people from work for my husband's birthday party. Never had heard of the place before. We could not have had a better meal and a gathering of 7 friends any place else that would hold a candle to this experience. We are owners of The Clarendon Hotel in midtown Phoenix and all live on the west side of town. We will be stopping there for a gathering to discuss new ideas at least once a week from now on.
