One of us doesn't eat pork, so the staff doubled the portion of duck to make up for leaving out the sausage. Goat cheese ravioli with sundried tomatoes and olives- excellent. Our server was a gem, friendly without effort. They are customer sensitive in their table placement so that guests are not elbow to elbow. Go now if you can--the seared grilled trout stuffed with thin slices of lemon is memorable! The chef grills the fish to perfection--seared and charred on the skin, and moist, tender and perfect on the inside. The bed of small potatoes and peppers that the fish sits on is equally delicious. Just a terrific dish--and very filling. Their mixed greens salad has the nicest dressing--I can't figure out why it is consistently delicious--just enough salt in the light vinaigrette, maybe made with a special olive oil? And lemon juice instead of a harsher vinegar? In any event, the trout is the thing to order just now on their seasonal menu. My friends, although residents of QA , had never been in Betty's.
