A word from Bethany's Table
Bethany's Table is a casual European style bistro offering meals made from fresh, local ingredients and served in a relaxed setting imbued with genuine hospitality.

Grass-fed beef, humanely raised (and tasty) chicken, fresh seafood, pasta, risotto, polenta complimented by unique ingredients such as foraged wild mushrooms, truffles and sea beans (wild asparagus). The menu is complimented with an exhaustive wine selection and a full bar.

Dinner is served every night, lunch served Monday through Friday and a very special brunch is offered on Saturday and Sunday beginning at 9 AM.

The Table is a popular neighborhood spot blessed with a loyal cadre of regular customers. This results in a large portion of diners walking in. For this reason a number of tables are held out to accommodate walk-ins.

This a favorite spot and always excellent, except on Nov. 21st. We waited 30-minutes for the entree. Didn't get an explanation, but did receive a nice complimentary after-dinner drink. The entree - a tasty Cod - was unusually small.

The only real knocks on Bethany's Table are low visibility signs in front and the reservation process. Since it's in a mall complex, mapping apps don't get you to the front door. They get you close and you have to look for the restaurant, and the signs are hard to see. The other is that I made a reservation on Open Table, and when I checked in (on time), I was told that my table might not be available for 30 minutes - kinda defeats the point of a reservation. As it happened, my table was ready in less than 15 minutes, so not a real big deal. On the plus side, despite the full dining area with plenty of competing conversations, the ambiance was nice and the energy was good. The service was attentive and courteous. The food was the high point, including excellent corn and crab chowder, Salads were good and the steak and mashed potatoes were very good.

Bethany's table - great food in an unlikely place - suburbia. The food was wonderful - creative, well prepared and delicious. Service was excellent. I would "downgrade" it on a couple of things. First, we couldn't see the name of the place outside it. There was a sign saying "bistro", but nothing else. Second, the noise level was quite high and the lighting quite low. If you have problems reading the menu, ask the waiter for a flashlight! True! We were there on Friday night, which may have been louder than other nights, but the background clatter and the shrieking laughter from the next table was rather off-putting.

Visited Bethany's Table this weekend and had a wonderful, relaxed and tasty meal. My husband had halibut, I had cioppino and our son had the burger. The special butter lettuce salad with Humboldt Fog cheese was a standout. Good wine list, attentive service. I noticed they had a shelf of books and toys to help keep children entertained, but there were also couples out for a nice evening - both kid-friendly and romantic! We left our VISA card at the restaurant and they called us right way to let us know it was safe in the till until we could come back to get it. We will put this place on our regular list!

We took my Mother in Law, a great foodie, to Bethany Table and she couldn't stop talking about their scallop salad! She loved her Lemon Drop and the wine recommendation for after dinner. My husband had a special that night: a tenderloin and I got their chicken special. My 6 year old son loved the cheese pizza served with fresh cut fruit. This wasn't a first time for myself and my husband and it sure won't be the last one! Highly recommending this great place to anyone who's looking for a family friendly, with excellent food type of place. Oh their homemade bread is divine!

We arrived early for our reservation, were greeted by the owner and her shar pei and given the choice of any table that was open. The waiter was personable and helpful in checking on gluten free menu items as well as a special order to eliminate the bread from the Dunginess crab melt. A great variety of wines are displayed along one wall. We didn't order wine this time, but a wine connoisseur would be pleased with the choices. Delicious tomato basil soup and crab melt served without bread in a ramiken for one diner, while another had the crab melt served on gluten-free bread. Attentive service, delicious food and good prices. We'll go back soon!

All of us, ranging in age from 28 to 98, savored and shared our dinner choices, from creamy chilled beet soup to scallop salad to pork shanks in a succulent sauce. Our out-of-town guests, who have sample many Portland restaurants, said that this may be the one above all others that they will have to return to. Those of us from the neighborhood wish we had discovered this delightful oasis sooner.

This was our 4th time dining at Bethany's table. Each and every time we have eaten here the food and service has been fantastic. For such a good restaurant, the location is a bit of a surprise. We didn't expect to find a gem like this so close to our neighborhood. During our first visit we were a little concerned about the prices. After eating here though, we consider this to be a great value. All the ingredients are fresh. Appetizers, samplers, entree, and deserts are flavorful and meticulously prepared. The portions size is just right. The orders come prepared as requested. Although we haven't tried it yet, there are some outdoor tables available.

Consistently wonderful and better than most "trendy" restaurants downtown. Can't say enough about this tucked away spot in the heart of Bethany Village. Always a good selection of wine by the glass, white and red. A varied selection of appetizers, salads, and entrees presented as only a chef who cares about his food can. Hard to pull away from the menu for the specials, which are always truly special. Personal favorite, shrimp and polenta, but of course, I know it as shrimp and grits. An excellent version, lots of flavor, the chefs in low country are turning green! Very happy this restaurant is on OpenTable, because I drive FROM PDX to eat here with friends and family in the area.

This restaurant would fit right in next to any of the best local spots on NW 21st, NW 23rd, or SE. Excellent execution on egg dishes (weekends only) for brunch as well as meat and fish related entrees and anything on the menu that benefits from the chef's flair for Italian inspired cuisine! Quaint spot with better than to be expected variety on the wine list; not as comprehensive as some, but significant variety.

Went for brunch w/ my mom. The menu posted online was different, so if you have your heart set on something you may want to call ahead. My mom had the eggs benedict and loved it. I had a hamburger. It wasn't spectacular, but it was a good, solid burger... the bun and house sauce were very good. I'd order it again. Coffee was strong :) Staff was attentive and friendly. The food is priced at the high end for Portland and the quality just doesn't measure up. We had some small appetizers (that weren't very good) and the paella was just ok (large serving but not as good as when I cook it at home). While there aren't a lot of good places to eat in Beaverton, if you do want to eat in Beaverton and are planning to spend $60-100 for a dinner for two, Decarli's food is considerably better.

The food was great although it was a little pricy. Our server though we were not as impressed with. She was an older lady who spent more time checking in with the couple behind us. When we ordered drinks She asked my husband and I but walked off before our son could order. Everyone in the restaurant had bread but we were never asked. There was a younger guy there that after our order was placed was the one to check on us. I would go again, but request a different server next time.
