"Alex Ong's interpretation of SE Asian street foods at Betelnut is fabulous in every sense - flavor, presentation, hospitality, and vibe. Sit at the chef's bar for the full experience including chatting with Alex and his team as the flames leap and the aromas spike the air. If you never ordered anything (which would be unwise), you would still get a whirlwind tour of the countries, culture, and cuisines through your nose. Do not miss the pork short ribs, yee sang salad, happy buddha dumplings, and the signature green beans preparation (which was available with amazing local asparagus the night we went). If you've never liked tapioca pudding, you should try it here (along with other great dessert choices), for a brand new perspective."

"My second visit and the first for my friends--we were greeted and seated promptly. All of us loved our menu choices, flawless food, fun cocktails. Our waitress was extremely patient, attentive, and we thoroughly enjoyed out 3 hrs on a horrible rainy day. The portions can be a little small, but we left very satisfied and will happily recommend to anyone."

"We eat here several times a year - food did not disappoint. But, the service was terrible, a big disappointment. We ordered rice and it came at the end of our meal. We couldn't get the waitress to come to our table, so we couldn't order another round of their famous mai tai's."

"Fabulous!!!! The food was exceptional, our servers were and very friendly and efficient which made for an overall great evening! Every dish was perfectly seasoned or spicy yet not overdone and fresh as can be. We will definitely be back in the near future!"
