As with most restaurants these days, the customers were very loud, but
this is not unusual in our dining experience. It seems that most people are
unaware of those around them are trying to enjoy dinner and their own
conversation. There's not much a restaurant can do to reduce the noise
level when it's their own clientele responsible.

Nice ambience and romantic setting. There was music playing softly in the background. The food here is consistent and always tasty. The food is excellent, the service is exceptional and the ambiance terrific.
It is not cheap, but you get your money's worth.
We had the signature Margarita's to start, the guacamole and ceviche. The guacamole is prepared at the table, so you know it is fresh.
I had the fish boudin, a kind of pie, and my wife had pork and pineapple tacos. We finished with tres leches and coffee.

Every single time you go there whether it's a quiet winter night or busy Cinco de Mayo the service and food is phenomenal! This particular night was very special. I invited several friends for a gathering. I knew that Besito would be a great choice that would impress my friends. Our waitress was wonderful. She was very descriptive about the menu and specials and patient with the new guests. The food is always so fresh and flavorful. This is by far our favorite place to eat on long island. Drinks are outrageous and the food is superb! I was there 2 weeks ago and they were half size. Last night they were 1/3 size. I hope they aren't headed towards churro tots! Maybe it was just for restaurant week. Food is fantastic, as always. Still bummed that my formerly favorite dish was changed from barramundi to mahi mahi- the barramundi was sooooo much better than the mahi mahi! I really wish you would switch it back. I absolutely recommend the queso fundido and enchiladas suizas - the fiance had fun with his mixtos create your own taco type dish. Our first time was OK as we really couldn't understand everything the waiter was saying so we kind of winged it but the last two times we had Joe as our waiter who was a pleasure to have as our server. He was extremely passionate about the food and made everything sound so delicious and you wanted to try everything on the menu. As the size of Churro they give you at the end has declined from 1 whole Churro per person to a 1/3 of a Churro per person now, we have never walked out disappointed. The tequila menu is fantastic and there are some great options and values (if you are familiar w/ typical bottle costs). The Guac is always amazing to the last bite. Fish is always fresh and tasty. Vegetable dishes & sides also always done properly. As we have started to eat more healthy (less meat and dairy) - we have been able to continue enjoying Besito. Of course we had the guacamole I had the carnitas all the food was very good. What struck me the most though was that all the employees seemed to be happy to be there they were all smiling and friendly, I really liked that. At the end of the meal we were given some churros I ate one there and took one home, even later it was
crispy and not greasy i really enjoyed that and they give you a little worry doll as well. They were small touches that made a great meal even more enjoyable.
