  • "I love this restaurant! The margaritas are always wonderful! The guacamole was delicious, but we wished we had gotten 2 avocados. One was not enough for 4 people. Two of us got the Budin de Mariscos...we loved it! One friend had the Mixtas and the other had the Enchiladas, they both loved their dinners as well. I would definitely recommend Besito!"

The iced tea was served in Patron bottles which was cute. And the agave sweetener was a nice touch. They give you churros and worry dolls with the check! It was a fun experience."

My husband apparently got montezuma's revenge from his meal. My meal was not even served warm & supposedly, was to be "sizziling." Besito is over priced, overrated but the service and drinks make it worth a try."

  • "I can go on forever....but in short, the portions were really small, the margaritas were extremely small, the amount of guacamole for the appetizer wasn't great, we were rushed to leave and the check was ridiculously pricey for what we had. It seemed to be more of a place where huntington socialites get taken care of rather than a place that cares about satisfying their newer customers. On a side note, I'm 99% sure my $28 meal was microwaved. Three stars because the service was good and setting was nice. Disappointing."

  • "Such a great place and would not have visited without using OpenTable. We enjoyed the tableside guac and besito margartias. Husband had the filet minon which was to die for! I had the shrimp which was good but after savoring my husbands steak, I felt that was the better of the two dishes. Great coffee and loved the flan. We had a quaint little table on the upper level of the bar which was just lovely. I loved this place and would go back very soon. I also heard someone write that they welcome dogs outside in the summer. I'm always looking for a place where I can eat, drink wtihout worrying about the dog. Would be great to do that with others so I hope that rumor is true."

  • "I've been to Besito a few times, which is incredible since I usually do not eat Mexican food; however, Besito takes Mexican food to a different (higher) level. The service was excellent, food delicious. The only reason I wouldn't recommend it for a 'first date' is because it is very noisy. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant."

  • "Besito is a fabulous restaurant. The food is delicious, the service wonderful, and the atmosphere is relaxing. A friend and I dined at Besito the night there was a fire in the building across the street. We enjoyed our meal, but in the middle of our dessert we were evacuated. I returned the following day to settle our bill, and the owner said that he would take care of it! he was sorry our meal was ruined! Well, our meal was not ruined, but what a generous offer from the owner! Besito will always be one of my favorites!"

  • "Food and atmosphere here was very good. Drinks were also very good, loved the Natural Marg with Agave.. The guac was the best I have ever had. It's hard to find good Mexican food and this place I woudl recommend. A bit cold though at front tables by the bar in the winter so sit in the back if you normally get chilly."

  • "We had been trying to go to Besito's for dinner for a couple of weeks, but it was booked. We finally made reservations and we arrived on Saturday night about 10 minutes late. Not a problem, we were immediately seated. We ordered drinks and the recommended guacamole with chips. The guacamole arrived and we were waiting for our margaritas. All of a sudden there was a mass exodus. We were told there was a fire across the street and we had to evacuate. At that point my wife and I grabbed our coats and left. In the brief time were there it was very busy and less than private. You have tables right next to other diners and privacy is non existent. The guacamole was delicious but unfortunately we never got our margaritas before we had to leave."

I took my dad there for his birthday and 3 other guests and they loved it. Overall everyone enjoyed the night. Oh! And the mojito was refreshing:) I'll come back."

  • "Been there for dinner many times and had fantastic meals. Decided to try for lunch and walked away less than satisfied. Not sure if this was an “off” meal or if we should just stick to dinner from now on. Lunch options are very unimpressive (a few apps, couple of salads, and five different tacos) for such a stacked dinner menu. Fish tacos were over breaded and tacos mixtos were overcooked. Busboy took our app plates away too fast and never asked if we were done; just took. We still had food on there. P.S. - Avocados were over ripe (brown) and the guacamole was mostly tomatoes. Poor version of guacamole anyone for more than $10. So uncharacteristic of such a great dinner place."

Very attentive, exceptional menu command & could explain any dish in great detail. Her recomendations were spot on!! The BESITO & CARLITO's WAY Margaritas were perfectly mixed & balanced. Guacamole is a MUST! made fresh tableside & comes in mild/med/spicy.Probably the finest I have ever had and FRESH! Quesadillas de Calabaza. Very tasty but with all the ingredients the mushrooms dominated. Main courses Filete de Res al Chipotle (a marinated filet mignon w/ chipotle salsa was fork tender, no knife needed! The Carnitas were rich, tender & layers of flavor! A definte return!"

  • "Drinks were delicious ~ pomegranate margarita!! The chicken taco's (appetizer) were very crunchy and chicken was tender. Pecan crusted salmon was delicious. Desserts were pretty good, but I would have liked a little more of a selection. I would highly recommend this restaurant, but the only thing was is that we had an hour drive to restaurant and I felt a little rushed."

  • "Four of us went to Besito for the first time Wednesday night. Everything was wonderful right up to the complimentary fried donut sticks ( I can't remember what they are called). We had appetizers; one was table-side made guacamole, four entrees, three coffees and several beers and drinks. The bill with tip was $60.00 a person. This may seem high for a Mexican restaurant, but this is a more upscale venue. The only drawback, and the restaurant has no control over this, is the impossible parking situation in the village. If there is municipal parking near by, signs need to be clearly posted."
