  • "My husband and I went there for our belated Valentines Day dinner; I have been there once before with a group of ladies and the service was excellent, this time it was not. Our waitress was obviously not very experienced, if this is the case do not put her on the floor on a Saturday night. In a nutshell, she rarely made eye contact, looked around with a scared look on her face when I made ANY type of inquiry, ordered my husband the wrong sized entree and never apologized for it or offered anything for the inconvenience, brought me the wrong drink and when I told her it was she said no its not and I had to make her take it back. When you are spending $100.00 on dinner your server should not be this inexperienced."

  • "Fabulous food and service. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. They have a diverse menu where you can find many interesting dishes. The duck nachos are awesome as well as their steaks and seafood. Great management,great chef, ambiance, service and food. I highly recommend this restaurant."

  • "The decor is very well done. From the outside in, you want to eat here. There was virtually no diners there. The server was very nice but always to the table several minutes later than you were expecting. The salads were very good. The calamari app was too heavily breaded. The chicken parisian looked great, however the Brie cheese was so over powering that it was the only thing my wife and daughter could taste. I had the Ahi tuna tower. I love tuna. This tuna was chopped into tini bits and covered with some cold sauce. And frankly, tower is a bit strong of a word for 1" of tuna on top of what I think was 1" of rice? My son got the Osso Bucco. The size and flavor was excellent. The bone was so small, no marrow to dig out and no way to dig it"

  • "Off McMillan Rd in Clearwater is Besa Grill. It’s a nicely adorned restaurant with a great menu. For the 2nd year in a row, while in the Tampa/St Pete area, I scheduled a business meeting at Besa. The menu is a nice collection of southwestern choices. It was a tough decision as to what to order, so I ordered the special, a turkey quesadilla and my client ordered the spicy sandwich. The wine list is good and we ordered a bottle on their special menu called “Trio” (from Chile). The service was excellent and the meeting was enjoyable because of the surroundings."

  • "Items posted on their on-line menu were not available (ie BBQ ribs). There was a choice of either a 10oz or 14 oz prime rib, but there was no 10oz availble. The 14oz prime rib was tasty, but it was the toughest prime rib I have ever had,including grizzle in it. THe atmosphere was nice with low lighting and it was quiet giving a more intimate feel to the dinner. Finally, the "cotact us" tab on their web site had no e-mai address to send this revew to. I might try Besa again, but they need to get their act together."

Service was friendly and effcient. Price was reasonable. While a 30 minute drive plus from our home, will without doubt return. A real great addition to our favorite restaurant lists. We like Besa Grill as much as their sister restaurant Flamestone American Grill. We frequent Flamestone more because we love the table side Guacamole. Anyway, Besa is definitely a wonderful place to go on a week day/night or weekend!!"

  • "The flatbread was good, but the steak tacos were gross. Fatty, definately not the filet as described in the menu. Chewy too, could not eat. We had a reservation and it was not very busy when we arrived, however, we were seated right next to the bar/wait station, noisy, negative comments continually by the staff. Will not return."

  • "This was our first visit. We frequently visit Flamestone and were disappointed in Besa's guacamole. It was nothing like Flamestone' guacamole. My husband loved his sea bass but my lobster tacos had cold lobster meat which I did not like. Warm lobster meat woul be better. The churros were delicious but the dipping sauces were solid and I could not did the churros. The server was good but had too many tables to take care of on a Sunday night. Will not go back but will continue to dine at Flamestone."

Wish we could clone Chef Paul. We ordered a couple of their Chicken Pot Pie Soups to bring home. So much to choose from and not enough space. We’ll just have to keep going back. We highly recommend the Besa Grill. It’s not just a restaurant, it’s a dining experience."
