Benvenuti'seven better the 2nd timeI just visited for the 2nd time. LOVED IT. The food was magnificent and service was great. My end of the evening cappuccino was PERFECT with the desserts we chose. This is something I would expect to find in NYC, the quality of ingredients, flavors of dishes, and unique additions. I had the opportunity to meet Chef Anthony, and he is a truly gifted at his craft. Needless to say we wanted to go out somewhere special for his recent graduation. Some friends had recommended Benvenuti's. Since it was a first date I wanted everything to be romantic, and I was not let down. The food was amazing and so flavorful. The wine was impressive as well. One unique options the menu offers is that every month features several specials prepared by the chef, along with his recommendation for a wine that goes well with the meal. Place was packed, so timeliness of service was a bit behind the power curve. Still, our waitress saw to our needs professionally. The food is so amazing from start to finish its was a first class experience. My daughter had the black cod, husband the lamb rack, son a pizza, while I had a bowl of the best gnocchi I've ever had.
