We were not disappointed.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMI love BennettsWe found Bennetts last summer when we moved to St. Paul. We love the atmosphere and the food is great. The bartenders are a lot of fun and very attentive. We did have several of our group comment however that the wait staff seemed unhappy. It's never fun to have a waiter that doesn't seem to want to be there. That goes for Joe as well. When he drives the bus or tends bar, he seems uninterested. I think that an owner of a restaurant should greet his customers and thank them for coming in rather than ignoring everyone and standing with his back to us at the bar looking crabby. Not good customer service or customer relations. If it weren't for the bartenders and the free rides to all the games, we probably would find somewhere else to go.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved Bennett's Chop & Railhouse!It was our first time (all 4 of us), and we didn't know what to expect when we walked in the door. Well now we know to expect fabulous food, great prices, amazing and friendly service, and bartenders that make you feel right at home. We enjoyed ourselves so much we hung out at the bar for an hour after our meal. Thanks for a great evening! My husband and I went on a "date night" and this is the restaurant that I really wanted to go to. We had been there once before and thought it was wonderful. It's hard to find restaurants that have "home made" salad dressings, etc. We enjoyed every minute of our date night and every bite of our steaks done to perfection. A must see, their menue has a wide variety. I have drove by this place for years and opted to go as a celebration destination. Service was awesome, and food was great. Chicken Kiev was delicious and filet was cooked perfect. Additional members in our party had burgers and one enjoyed the all you can eat crab. The chopped salad is incredible as well as the beer cheese soup. I am so glad that we made a reservation because almost everyone arriving after us without a reservation had to wait up to an hour which is fine if you can sit at the bar. I can't wait to go there again and have the chef chop salad. My husband raved about how good his steak was. All the food was very good. The waitress was also attentive. Lisa made sure that we got everything we needed and made sure that we caught the bus to the game.

My girlfriend and came here before the wild game. Cory was our server did an excellent job explaining the menu, gave recommendations on what to eat.
