Highly recommend for any occasion.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for groupsthe food is good at benihanas it is traditionally Japanese and the flavoring of even simple dishes like steak and lobster is not what you would normally expect it to be when you eat it at another restaurant so go prepared for different taste sensations. It is a little spendy so you may want to make sure that you know that before you go. We did know that and it was still a little bit more spendy than we thought but we all had a good time. it was for a birthday and we had a large group and it was good for us to all get together. The restaurant staff was courteous and the cooks were wonderful and the restaurant itself was very accommodating for our birthday preparations. If you don't know, you sit at a U-Shape table and the chef prepares the food at your table. You sit with strangers unless you have a bigger group (8?). This places some limitations on the menu as the chef must prepare everything basically at once. Still the food was very nice and the scallops were wonderful. The chef is a trained enterainer, juggling the cooking implements and food. Ours was a fair humorist as well. He LOVED it. Great Asian food, easily the best sushi in Utah as well as top seafood restaurant I have been to in the state. My boyfriend loved the wine as well, and he is quite picky!
