The food was excellent and healthy. All ages will enjoy this restaurant If you are celebrating a special occasion, let them know. Enjoy the food and leave with a smile! Try it and you will like it. Our waitress though mistake -free, seemed spread thin. The restaurant was packed for a Tuesday and it seemed liked the staff was too few to take care of all the tables. There were times we would not see our waitress for more than just several minutes. The folks at our table unbeknowst to us were always waiting for their drinks to be filled and they finally asked another waitress to fill their drinks.Other than a large investment in time it was an enjoyable experience. We have been going there for over 15 years and never once did we get a bad meal or experience. We love Harley and always request him to cook for us. My husband enjoys Harley and his sense of humor he is really a very good chef. The room is filled with excitement all the time and they really let the world know that it is your birthday or special occasional with their songs and clapping. We really recommend this establishment to all people we come in contact with. We always say have you ever ate at benihana if not you are missing the best food around. The waitress really have a hard job when the place is kickin and we do not have to wait long at all. The only thing that bugged me, the last time I dined there, was that one of the hostess wasn't paying attention to the reservations. So what was supposed to be a 5 min wait for our table (told to us by one hostess) turned into a 35 min wait cause the other hostess took two other parties that walked in after us. That greatly aggregated my husband. Chef Lalo was truly amazing and was certainly talented and enjoyed his job to the utmost. He was an absolute crowd pleaser. Would ask for this Chef again! I doubt it was Benihani's fault. It was a Saturday night and we do understand people do like to take their time enjoying their meal and the unique experience. At B'e they do not seat till everyone is there.

She cleared our soup, salad and extra plates quickly to make room for other things. As you know the eating space at Benihana is very limited. She refilled drinks and was quick to bring us boxes for our leftovers but did not make us feel rushed to leave. She was friendly and was available through our whole visit to Benihana.
Daniel was our chef and he was also excellent. He was entertaining and cooked our food just as we asked.

The server was considerate, and asked if we wanted to be sung to. He then, without charge, took a photo of us, and framed it in a paper frame and gave it to us. Then, at the end of our dinner, as we were getting ready to leave, we found out that they sell their salad dressing (along with many of their other tasty sauces). The server gave us a container for free, and said "Happy Birthday" as we left.
The seating arrangement is best for groups of 8 or less.
Overall, we had an excellent experience at Benihana. Oh, yea.
