  • "We went for a birthday lunch. I really liked that we could now make reservations online. It was fast and easy. We were seated quickly and Lisa, our server was great. However the food, was good this time. It's usually great, but there were a little issue. The salad was drenched in dressing and we were unable to finish it. But overall, food was tasty!   • "Went to Benihana's for my one year anniversary and was completely satisfied with the whole experience! BE SURE to make reservations as there was an insane amount of walk in customers who had to wait over 90 minutes for a table but luckily with making reservations on open table we had to wait only 10-15 minutes. The food was absolutely delicious, I had the chef special of steak and chicken, and the staff was extremely friendly and efficient, I never even had to ask for a refill as I would look and see it had already been done! Overall great experience."

However, there was an extremely long wait from the time we ordered until the time the Chef came out to our table to cook. Especially since it was a Tuesday. The food was good with the exception of our filet mignon having fatty pieces on it. If it's going to have fatty pieces, what's the point of getting filet mignon. Other than those two complaints, how overal experience was good."

The staff were courteous, however, the service was very slow and it took them a very long time to take our drink order, then our food order. Once the chef started cooking, he had to go back into the kitchen about 3 times because the tray was prepared incorrectly. The food was prepared well, however, ambience and service were lacking."

  • "Celebrated my youngest daughter's 14th birthday. 3 of us ordered the colossal shrimp, which weren't really colossal, to add salt to the wound the cook over cooked them. If you ever have over cook shrimp you know they're rubbery. Our medium filet mignon was well done and my husband ordered the salmon and he didn't get his food until we were all almost done eating. The cook was pleasant but definitely needs a little more training on food preparation. Would also like to go back to the days where most, if not all the cooks were Asian. Don't get me wrong I'm all about equal hiring but when I go to an Asian restaurant I'd expect to see more Asian chefs/cooks. My husband is Chinese and I'm Mexican just so that there's no question about diversity."

  • "We came here for my stepdad's birthday. We thought the meal along with the "show" would be a good way to celebrate. We went during the lunch hour on a Sunday. We had reservations, which turned out to be a good thing. As we were leaving, there was a long line of people waiting to get in. We were able to order off the lunch or dinner menu. We all opted the lunch menu. Good thing, because the lunch portions were of ample size. The food was good and tasty. The ginger sauce and dressing is my favorite. We look forward to returning in the future."

When she brought with appetizers -- wasn't going to make a special trip. I had asked for corn instead of the squash, onions veggies. Not written down for chef. Hubby asked for steak/shrimp combo. Written down as steak/chicken. Chef did appear upset with her and he should be since it threw off his cooking. Other times we have had good service. But when you get such bad service -- that's what stays with you."

At that point, it had been almost an hour since we had sat down. The food was awesome once we got to eat, though."

When I inquired as to why we were seated in such a fashion I was advised that at the back tables they normally seat 9 people. I have frequented this restaraunt several times and been seated there in the past and we never had 9 people at one table. The chef confirmed that they never seat the table with 9 people. There were open tables and no need to squeeze us all in one table. It was uncomfortable and very crowded with all the plates and dipping sauces, cups, and miscellaneous plates. In addition, the server disappeared several times and we were unable to get refreshed drinks. The tables were not all in use so there should not have been a problem with the service."
