We ate at 5:00 p.m. and by 6:30, the entire restaurant was filled with people trying to get in. It is always a wonderful & delicious experience. We absolutely LOVE Benihana & always look forward to when we return.

We went for my wife's birthday and had a coupon for her dinner. In the fine print, they mention that an 18% gratuity will be added, but who reads the fine print. Honestly that was what I would have tipped, but i HATE mandatory tipping, especially since we were a party of 2. The manager did take it off, after I complained, but the way it is placed on your check makes it look as if you still need to tip MORE. This appears to me to be a way to scam an extra 18% before tipping, which makes in a tax, not a tip. Shame on you Benihana. I don't blame this restaurant, as it is a corporate decision, but I will not be back. I got the Chateaubriand Steak and Scallops and, OMG, the steak almost literally melted in my mouth, it was so tender. While it can be a little pricy, averaging about 30-35 dollars a plate, the $30 birthday certificate really helps to offset the cost. In addition, the Sushi is phenomenal and extremely reasonably priced; great for chilling after work.
