The restaurant is always packed and when we arrived there were already people waiting. With Open Table it took about 5-10 minutes to be seated. The food is always delicious and well prepared, if you love sushi they have a nice selection and the prices are great for their full rolls. The service is always outstanding, no one will ever pass by you and not stop to check on you, multiple people in fact. Dimly light room/tables provide a great atmosphere. My family goes at least 3 times a year if not more. We celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and enjoy every minute of it. The food portions are ample and of course taste GREAT! The entire experience is so much fun for the whole family. We have been bringing our kids there since they were about 5 years old, now they are 20 years old. I have tried many different dishes, but personally my favorite is the hibachi shrimp! The old expression, you get what you pay for certainly applies here. The food was delicious and every bit was savored along with the service that was wonderful. The other guest parties sharing the dinner table engaged in conversation and enjoyed one another's company. My kids enjoyed the whole experience so much they forgot to be "picky eaters" and tried all of what was put in front of them. The chef was great and engaged the whole table. It was such a great experience and my kids talked about it for two days. They are still wearing their menu hats and have asked when we can go back again. The staff was very attentive to her and the fact that it was her birthday. She felt so very special. The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. I am very pleased with everything. But my daughter chose the restaurant to celebrate her 16th birthday because she loves the food. From the moment we sat down, the experience was wonderful. The waitress Maki was delightful. We were disappointed when she had to take a break during our meal. We were not disappointed with the chef, Julio due to his kindness and extra touches on the preparation of the food. He definitely wanted to do his best and he succeeded!! He added some special procedures to make the food even better than usual. These two wonderful people made my daughter's 16th birthday special. As my wife and I enjoyed our first time there, and the wonderful atmosphere with the low lighting (but lit well enough to be able to watch every move, as our meals were prepared right in front of us). It was amazing to see these kids having the same reactions and having just as much fun as all of the adults. I found that the mood of the place was what you made of it. I would think it would be a great first date location, as you could be as intimet as you liked. You can keep to the two of you or interact with the new friends at the table.
