Benihana - Maple Groverestaurant ediquetThis is in a group setting. It takes about 1 hour and the experience is fantastic. Food is wonderful.
But what would help is if you leave your cell phone in the car. I am sure the earth won't fall apart for that time. I consider it rude for the people in my group to be texting and taking calls when the chef is putting on his little show. Our party of three included myself, my wife and our one month old. The staff was very accommodating to our baby and had a car seat carrier waiting for us when we arrived per my reservation requests. The wait staff was very attentive to the entire table and extremely polite. The chef was tons of fun and very witty. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return. We had a newer chef so he stumbled through the routine and overcooked the steak. But we slathered it in yummy sauce so we didn't notice as much. The chicken fried rice needed extra soy sauce. Our chef had not mastered all of the "tricks", but was good natured about his misses. I was concerned because one of my daughters is a rather picky eater. She was"stuffed" by the end of the meal. I would recommend having an option for the dressing on the salad and for the appetizer. It was a great night out and we had plenty of food left over for scrumptious lunch the next day. It is a lot of fun and if you have not gone before, you need to go for dinner after that i would go for lunch. It is cheaper and it is almost the same food. We signed up for their email club and we get 30.00 for dinner. This used to be alpt but i feel like they have raised thier prices and this will get you a dinner(barely).

I asked how long and they told us with certainty and several times, "just a couple of minutes". 25 minutes later, we still waited. Because they cook I front of you and the cooks are so talented its almost like dinner and a show! The chefs have many jokes and tricks up thier sleeves that make sure every meal is not only tasty but fun.
I highly recommend taking a group with. The cooking tables seat eight each and seeing first timers faces is so fun. The prices for lunch run about $15 so making this a monthly eating out experiance is possible. He called a manager over and they promptly moved us to another table, carrying all of our drinks and other items for us and included a round of drinks on the house. Everyone kept apologizing profusely, but really they did the right thing. They moved us, gave us a free drink, and we went on with our dinner.
