A word from Benihana – LVH – Las Vegas Hotel & Casino
A fresh experience every single time. Benihana is the first name in Japanese, exhibition-style cooking method known as "teppanyaki." Sip authentic sake and listen to the gentle rains as they caress the soul. The realistic special-effects fireworks, lush Japanese gardens, flowing ponds, exotic statuary and authentic Torri Arch soaring above are some of the reasons Las Vegas visitors and locals alike have voted Benihana tops in the city three years in a row. Voted "Best of Las Vegas" by the Las Vegas Review Journal’s. The real reason though is the fabulous fare. From mouth-watering steak, tender chicken, succulent seafood and garden-fresh vegetables to a variety of sushi rolls and other Japanese favorites, your meal is prepared fresh and served by a performing chef, right before your eyes.Continued

  • "Food did not impressed me, but it is great for a large group and to be there for the cooking experience is really nice. MY favorite drink was "sweet Leilani" "

  • "The restaurant have fit us in a very limited space and the server was not nice rushed us to get out of the restaurant. service was bad. The group was a customer and was not happy how we were treated."

  • "We had a meeting with a vendor partner at a conference in Las Vegas and dinner at Benihana was perfect. The food was excellent the service was great. The only challenge we had was the size of our table. There were a couple of bigger guys in our group and they were pretty jammed in the booth. Other than that, excellent."

  • "Food is always good here but while our chef at the table cooking did a great job, there was no charisma. He didn't toss an egg into his hat. Come to think of it, there was no egg at all. It was enjoyable but usually the show is much better. Food great and they're busy for a reason."

  • "I've been before but my boyfriend hadn't. We really enjoyed ourselves - had a great table with lively guests and conversation. Celebrated our anniversary! The chef was wonderful and the entire staff was great."

  • "Our group of 4 was seated a few minutes early, joined by another group of 4 shortly after us, so our server and chef started our dining experience within minutes of being seated. The food was awesome, the chef was entertaining and the portions of food were generous."

  • "We had such a bad experience, we never again visit a Benihana. Food didn't taste anything. Service was poor. Prices are way to high."

  • "I had a reservation for my sister's birthday at 7:30pm and we waited 40 minutes to be seated?? They did not apologize for the wait and when we got seated with another party ( which is fine, I know the seats has to be filled ) the waitress started to asked for our drinks when she noticed one of the girl with the other party is her friend. She then shifted the attention to her group and told us she'll be right back???? And got their drink order. She was attentive to the other group and we had to ask the waitress for the table next to us for water refill. When the bill came she offered a 25% discount off the bill for the other group!! Which is fine, we knew she's friends with one of them but to make it heard by us made us feel less special !!!"

  • "When in Vegas - Benihana is a must for a good and interesting meal. As it was a Birthday treat we were there in the middle of March - a good evening spoilt by an obnoxious 30's femail guest at our table who argued with the chef for nearly 5 mins that the portion size for her partner's Jumbo Shrip was not enough. I shut her up eventually - the chef was great and very patient - but due to the delay our remaing items had been over cooked... the manager came and apologised for the scene and brought the remaining guests a complimentary ice or sorbet but the SHE guest ruined the evening."

  • "Visiting Las Vegas for my son's Birthday and opt to look for a great place to have fun and enjoy great food. Las Vegas Benihana I believe is the largest one they have; quite an enjoyment too see such a large restaurant. Food and service was great as always, only complaint I had was management didn't accept our $30 Birthday dinner certificate that we had. Printed out and brought the "home" page of the certificate not the "coupon" it self....You would think with the name and my son's DL showing his birthday they would accept it but they stand their ground that's for sure."

  • "A friend recommended this place to me. I was celebrating a special person's birthday. We were greeted and had our picture taken and printed right then. We were early so we were able to order a drink and sit in the lounge. The cook was great. Fun and energetic. We had a fun group at our table. The staff referred to him as "birthday boy" all night, brought him out a free dessert, sang happy birthday and were very attentive."

  • "We were disappointed as the cost was pretty high - which we knew it would be. However, the show was not anything more than I could do myself in my own kitchen. Save your money and order Chinese in for the night!!"

  • "Our experience was pretty good overall. Good ambiance. My chicken was over cooked but still kinda good. Shrimp was pretty good. Good place to go if you have never been, however I prefer some of the other Hibachi restaurants available."

  • "I've had their food twice and both times the food was very tasteless, and dry! The service was very poor! The waitress didn't cater to the customers needs. I will not be back!"

  • "This was a birthday dinner for my best friend. We arrived and were seated on time w/ a nice (free) picture of the occasion. In the upstairs room where we were seated the noise level from another table was out of control. There was NO way I could enjoy this dinner with this noise level.. The patrons who were so loud were asked to please calm down, but there reply was, "This is Las Vegas" and I can be as loud as I want.". Another employer (manager) asked them to please be quiet, but they disregarded him, too. This is when I had to move. We were moved to another table in another room where the screaming and shouting could still be heard, but not not as badly. Of course, we had to wait for our dinner because of the move."

  • "This was our first experience with Benihana. The dinner was part of a Las Vegas show/dinner package. The restaurant is beautiful and staff were very friendly. We (2 of us) sat at a table with 5 others where the chef prepared our dinner. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and we were surprised at the large portion of steak and chicken we received. The onion soup and salad were also very tasty. We received mandarin 'cheesecake,' which was delicious, but much lighter than a traditional cheesecake. The table next to us ordered from the menu (not part of a dinner/show package) and we watched their chef prepare lobster, fried rice and other items we'd like to try next time we visit Benihana."

  • "You go to Benihana's for the experience as well, and this Benihana's is very hit or miss. Our server and chef were both terrible! And when I reported it to the manager he said, "Oh... Okay." No I'm sorry or anything else. He was as lame as the server and chef. If you're going to Benihana's in Las Vegas go to the other location. The staff is much more customer service oriented and actually makes sure you're having a good time."

  • "If you've been to one, this is just like it only more expensive and with a really beautiful bar area near the entrance. The kids liked the chef show, we met some nice people sharing our communal table. We get better food from our local takeout joint back home but that isn't really the point I suppose. Discount coupons are available through Tix4Tonight and in the LVH hotel coupon book if you are staying there."
