Scallops and shrimp also fantastic. My husband had never had Hibachi and always wanted to experience it so I surprised him with a dinner at Benihana. We arrived promptly at 6pm for our reservation and were seated immediately. What a wonderful experience that ensued. The ambiance was fun and lively. Our Hibachi chef, Selvin, was terrific! Very entertaining and the food was delicious. The servers were very attentive and very friendly. Our evening finished with a complimentary dessert with a candle while the staff sang an anniversary song to us. Such a great experience and we had such a great time. We're going back with the kids next month as this is something we want to share with them too. There were a few other annoyed customers that had to wait an hour also. Other than that it was OK. I don't think I will go back though. It seemed like the restaurant was trying to accommodate too many customers at once. The server was quick with appetizers and with keeping our drinks filled. The chef was interactive with the kids in our group and showed alot of energy with the kids. He had a great sense of humor and throughly explained the sauces and the foods that they would go best with. However, this location I will not return to again. I made a reservation but was not seated until 50 mins AFTER the reservation time even though I was there on time. The chef was less than friendly and the whole staff seemed discombobulated and relatively unfriendly. The food wasn't as good as it is at the other locations I have been to, although the chicken was fabulous (I had teriyaki chicken), but the fried rice was not seasoned as well as usual. Overall, I would not recommend this location to anyone. I was not disappointed. To watch the chef is not only entertaining, it is also educational in how the food is prepared.
Veggies over here, meat in this area. How everything is organized in the cooking and kept clean between courses.

It was wonderful food but I didn't leave full. I should have ordered more food or a combo plate. We would go back. The presentation on the grill was refreshing and the cook smiled the whole time.
