  • "My husband and I enjoy Beni Hana very much. This was a pre-Anniversary celebration and as usual, we had a great time!"

  • "Food was good but I had to reorder something else on menu because they were out of blue ocean and chief had to keep leaving our table to get items he needed .they sat baby next to me and we were there to celebrate our anniversary and and boy put his hand in my sauce. The price we paid for two and to be sat next to busy body baby was not atmosphere I was looking forward to. I asked to take some fried rice with me and was told the kitchen was closed. Excellent food but not to happy about over all service."

  • "Where to start...have been eating at Benihana's since 1973 in New York City and I can say Rocki wouldn't allow the name on this store. The staff attidude, overall service, presentation and food quality does not come close to upholding the Benihana tradition and expectation. Will never eat there again."

  • "We had an 8 pm reservation for a party of six through Open Table. Arriving 10 minutes early, we were told reservations don't matter, we will be taken in order. After a 35 minute wait, we were seated at a table. For the next hour, we sat with the soup course and then salad. At 9:30' our first hot food came off the grill--a taste of shrimp. Our chef, Manny, was the only highlight of the night. He did a good job with our food. But the room was hot and smokey. No management response to our complaints at all. None of us will be going back!!"

  • "My husband and I both love the B. He done eat vegetables so I always order a side of shrimp and fried rice and I eat his soup and salad and all the grilled vegetables and he gets steak and jumbo shrimps with 2 fried rice. I bring home leftovers every time. Our server and our chef were awesome. Can't wait to go back in August and September with our birthday vouchers. I would highly recommend this restaurant."

  • "We really enjoyed our experience at Benihana's. The food was delicious, the service was great but we would have loved if the restaurant were not so warm. Additionally, my sons were still hungry when we left. :("

  • "My family and friends went to celebrate an Graduation. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the food. Benihana's was management and servers were very accomidating. Even though I received for 8 on open table and it would not accept 10 they did inform to call the restaurant next time because open table only allows 8 as a limit. Either way they still allowed 2 more to be added to the table at the restaurant which was very nice for them to add the 2 others."

  • "This was a special occasion for a friend retiring and she had never been. The Chef was entertaining and especially to the retiree and her family. Thank you for staffing people that make the experience special and the food was wonderful as usual."

  • "No ambiance, and the hostesses made us feel like we should be thankful for their attention in this empty restaurant. The bar tender couldn't be bothered with taking payment nor help his wait staff with their drink orders. Our waitress, though nice, seemed overwhelmed and incapable of a smooth service and our chef seemed brand new. He did however prepare a decent meal. We waited over 40 minutes to receive our check due to the waitress figuring out separating drinks from the meal for the two business men seated with us. In the meanwhile, why not bring us our dessert and to go boxes while waiting for the bill- steak loses some of its appeal after sitting that long. Overall, food good, service really bad "

  • "I have never had service this bad here. Food even was blah. Chef was not even into it just cooked that was it. People come to this place enjoy watching the cook. Especially my Mom. Bad experiance OVERALL. "

  • "Even though it was Mother's Day and the restaurant was packed the service was excellent. We were seated 20 minutes ahead of our reservation time. The chief was funny and interacted with individuals multiple times. The food was great and we all had a good time. "

  • "I truly enjoyed my lunch/dinner...there were so much food. Everyone in my party (party of 5) had to take food home. You will receive Soup, Salad, Entrée, & Ice Cream with a normal dinner (weekend lunch). Highly Recommended. "

  • "We had reservations at 7:30 pm and were not seated until 8:15. The chef didn't begin cooking until 9:00pm. The front staff and manager were surprisingly rude and nonchalant when we tried to express our frustrations. Because of the horrible customer service we experience, we will never return to Benihana's -Las Colinas. We will just bite the bullet and drive to the one on Dallas even though it's a lot further. Thanks for ruining my fiancé' birthday "

  • "After having gone to Jinbeh my whole life going to Benihana was a huge change. I've always put up with the sometimes rude and inconvenient service offered by Jinbeh, but about two weeks ago I decided I was fed up and I'd like to try that infamous place known as Benihana. And let me tell you– I am SO glad I did! Although the food was a bit pricier, it was worth it for the kind of service we received while there. The food was made in front of us by a chef who was very energetic and served us generously. Unlike at Jinbeh, my boyfriend and I were able to split a meal and got soup and salad for both of us without an additional charge for each. Not to mention the folks we met while there, Wishbone Ash band members, made the meal even better. "

  • "Food was great, our chef did not go thru all the different tricks; however, it was still a blast. Always leaves with a doggie bag. "

  • "We had a great time and food was good, but I really missed not having the Japanese garden that they have at the restaurant in Dallas. I also was really disappointed with the noise level. You couldn't talk to anyone that wasn't sitting right next to you because of the noise level. The Dallas Benihana's has more walls and I think that makes a huge difference."

  • "When our daughter said she wanted to come here for her birthday we were surprised, of all the wonderful restaurants - Benihana? Well we are eating our words. The staff from hostess to waiter to chef were wonderful. The food is delicious and very reasonable. I love that Benihana is a dining experience and not just dinner out. I highly recommend Benihana and if you are going to Las Colinas , ask for Danny for your waiter and Luis for your chef - 5 Stars!"

  • "I heard nothing but good news about Benihana's, however the chairs are too close together. I could almost feel the person next to me breathing. The tables are too small. We had to keep adjusting our dinnerware to accommodate each other. And lastly being a southern belle flavor is a big deal, and the food was bland. Disappointed LADinner"

  • "If you want to have fun and grab a show while eating and you don't mind to be social with strangers than this place it perfect. Energetic loud fun and great atmosphere."

  • "I went here for my birthday, because I knew they had the Endless Sushi. It's nearly $30, but considering what all accompanies the meal, not including the Sushi (3 rounds, up to 5 rolls per round) it's actually quite the bargain! They were courteous as could be, made great recommendations, and went out of their way to apologize for how long it took. The place was busy, so it was understandable, and it wasn't the sushi chef's being slow, it was just THAT busy. Do I recommend this place? Absolutely! This place is top notch in my book! One of the best dining experiences, so much so we were still talking about it the night after."

  • "Staffing appears to have become an issue. There was no one at the front desk. They were short of servers. Our server spoke very poor English. He was clearly fluent in Spanish. He also lacked fundamental training or courtesies. Management was different than in the past. Customers were jammed into tables so eating space was limited.. However, there were plenty of open tables. The only saving grace was that the chef was someone who has cooked for us before and he was excellent."

  • "The vegetables are sorely lacking from their dishes. My wife and I each received a very small serving of zuchinni. Then the chef prepared the protein in my meal alone and served it to me. There were 4 others at the table. After I had finished my zuchinni, protien and rice the chef then grilled some onions and mushrooms and put them on my plate. Who wants to eat grilled mushrooms and onions 10 minutes after the meal has been eaten. We were so disappointed with our experience that we have no plans to ever dine in this establishment again."

  • "I would definitely recommend you make a reservation before going, it can get extremely crowded really fast anytime after 5pm. The distance is in a central location between Dallas and Fort Worth so it was about a 35 minute drive for us. When we arrived the wait was a few minutes we chose a 5pm dining time. Our cook was Marco/Marcus He was absolutely awesome! This was our families first time visiting, and it was for my husbands birthday. Our waiter was Allen/Alex he was extremely polite and knowledgeable. Marco was very entertaining, our food was so good throughout the entire meal. Each course was wonderful."

  • "The different chefs have their own tricks to entertain, it was fun, the first foods that are cooked in the show will be cooled down by the time the last foods are cooked, maybe serving in heatef deeper bowls might keep the food hotter longer . Great Show ! Defiantly a place for a party !"

  • "I was not impressed. Granted, I went on Valentine's Day and they only had a specific Valentine's Day menu that you had to choose from. The waiter was having several problems understanding simple orders that the other guests wanted, including drinks. It took quite a while to actually get a refill, but was very quick to deliver the check to get us out of there. Other than the experience of sitting at the table where they cook your food, I see no difference in paying $60 here and $25 at a sushi/hibachi buffet (Ninja Sushi in Arlington, for example)."

  • "We went on Valentine's evening which may make a difference. Unfortunately, the experience was such that I'm not sure I'd like to try again on a regular night. We ordered from a limited menu because we were told that it made things go faster. Our meals were about $30 apiece, which was cheap in comparison to some of the meals offered, so many at our table ordered the same thing. Here's where the charm is lost. Because of where we were seated, we got the last two portions of whatever was being doled out- rice, shrimp, etc- so we got the scraps after our chef gave hearty helpings to the first few diners. What we ate was certainly not worth $60. The showmanship was nice, but I'd rather share my food with my date only if I choose to share at all."
