We do this every year and we've never been disappointed with either the personality of our chef's or the quality of the food. This has been our tradition for over 20 years and we hope to continue it for another 20. At the same time some kind of show. Our table was at a quite location. We enjoyed our dinner. We were eleven of us. Table was a little crowded. A larger table would work better.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent RestaurantI always like Benihana. The place offers excellent choice of various dishes and a great selection of wines and liquors. The atmosphere is super for a small group of people. The table has room for a maximum of 8 and you will have to share the table with others if your party has less. The only thing is that your clothes will have the food odor from the cooking since they cook in front of you. I always bring an extra shirt to change afterward since I do not like the food odor on my shirt.

Tons of tricks I've never seen before and very interactive with the table. I've been to Benihana at least five times so far this year and it never gets old. We first (party of 2) were seated with another party of 6. Great, except it was a little kid's birthday party complete with screams, toddlers, and balloons. We had waited 40 minutes to be seated at this point, even with a reservation, but opted to wait longer for another table. We were offered another 10 minutes later. No one else was offered that birthday table but us! They saw us walk in but no one smiled or greeted us at the door. We had to approach to let them know our reservation. Their response was "wait a few minutes". I felt bad for the restaurant owner as they may lose customers due o these frontline employees.
