Benihana - Coral SpringsPerfectA friend of mine suggested this place for my 22nd birthday. The servers were kind and patient, the cook was funny and talented, and the fresh fried rice made in front of us was my favorite part of my meal! Had chicken and steak combo and it came with onion soup as a starter. Everything down to the soup tasted so great. Had a glass of riesling to celebrate. The waiters were pleasant and helpful and the chef was funny. The service was good. We came as a couple and had to wait for the table to fill out with other people we did not know before we could begin our meal. I guess when you go there you should either go as a group of 6 or 7 or be prepared to meet new people and mingle. The only negative, the yum yum sauce replaced the old reliable (and delicious) mustard sauce. Could have been more on top of our drink needs, every 15-20 min you would hear someone from the table complaining about their drink. Hence even Ely asked for a drink for a guy at the table to the manager because the waiter was missing in action. All in all very good place, but they need to hire more waiters. I believe our waiter was bombarded with tables making it hard for him to attend everones needs.

I usually go for the food, & not the chef's same old knife banging. Our chef was truly outstanding. He did tricks that weve never seen before. Atbit wasall thru the cooking process. He was an atrtidan. Our table was mixed with young & old and he made the meal outstanding for all of us. He made the meal memorable.
