Benihana - BroomfieldGood Mother's Day LunchWe had a good lunch at Benihanna's for Mother's Day. As always the food was very good and the chef was intertaining. The restaurant was understaffed which resulted in an unreasonable wait at the table for the cooking to start (more than an hour). We were very thankful that we had made a reservation ahead of time because even though we were there at 2pm when a restaurant is less busy, they were telling people without reservations that they would have to wait more than an hour for a table! There were 7 of us total so we were able to have our own table. Our chef was so entertaining! And the other wait staff was great as well. Our waters and teas were always full and extra plates cleared quickly. They also gave us a free group photo that would could download from the website. The room was energetic and the teriyaki steak was cooked to perfection. Our 7 and 10 year old kids really enjoyed it. They also sat in one place for 90 minutes at the restaurant and the bill was cheaper than going out to a decent restaurant and getting a babysitter!
