Watch as we slice and dice, preparing a meal that will dazzle your eyes as well taste buds, whether you choose mouth-watering steak, tender chicken or succulent seafood.

Or you can visit our sushi lounge where a talented sushi chef will prepare the freshest sashimi, maki and signature sushi rolls with the same flair that made Benihana a legend in Japanese cuisine. Our family visited the Benihana in Alpharetta to celebrate our son's 40th birthday. We had a large crowd, which can often be problematic for restaurants. However, the staff at this location took excellent care of us. The service was impeccable, the food was fabulous, and the special attention to the birthday boy and our youngest grandson was wonderful. We will definitely be visiting Benihana again for our special occasions. And for those filet lovers, the filet was divine!!

As with many of you, I first enjoyed the Hibachi style at Benihana. Perhaps the only game in town, but always a great experience. Then, the imitators joined in, and there was always one closer, a little cheaper, or just more shiny than the tried and true Benihana location. I'll admit - I strayed. On occasion, those meals met or even exceeded my expectations, but I was always left wondering what happened to the old standard. So last night, as a change of pace, we went back to Benihana. I have to say, it was an eye-opener. The food tasted better, the Hibachi show was more entertaining, and the service was great as well. For about the same price as the other guys, I left with a much bigger smile on my face. I'm back to stay.

The food and the chef were great, but we had 3 birthdays at our table including my daughter. We watched every other table have happy birthday sung to them but when it came time for ours we were skipped. We came here to celebrate my daughters birthday and felt that this location completely ignored the birthdays at our table. I was very disappointed especially for the money that we spent. I would not recommend coming here and we will no longer be visiting this location.

The food was good, but the service was abysmal. The chef that cooked at our table was great but the wait staff was slow, inefficient, and not particularly concerned about our dining experience. We had to wait 15 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation and arrived right on time. Once seated we waited 10 more minutes before someone took our drink order. We waited 20 minutes more before the chef showed up at our table. Soup and salad are included with each entrée. They served the soup but "forgot" the salads...

I thought this place would be great considering it is in an affluent area. I was wrong. The waitress forgot not only to put my full order in, but a lady that was at the table as well. Compared to places like Shogun or Kani House, this place does not even compare. The broth was not flavorful and the rice bowl is extremely small. Would never go again!

We went to Benihana for my son's 11 birthday dinner with 2 other families. The food was great but part of the cost is the entertainment of the chef. This chef did not have much personality. The local Japanese steakhouse around the corner from our home is a much better value for the food & entertainment. We probably won't be going back to Benihana anytime soon.

While the food was good and, of course, it was fun watching it be cooked, there was no point in making a reservation. I made one specifically so that our infant and two preschoolers didn't have to wait to get a table. But when we showed up right on time, we were told it was going to be another 20-25 minutes until we got a table. And it was 25 minutes until we were seated. I was not pleased and the host had no other explanation except that they were backed up. It appeared that they did not have enough chefs since there were open tables. I also think the food is a bit pricey for what you get, but then again you get a bit of a "show" so that's nice. My kids were able to split a kids meal to save on costs. It was plenty of food.

We went for father's day as a family treat. Our teppanyaki chef had some issues with the waiter and kept telling him no about something and shaking his head. Not sure what was going on but it definitely impacted the mood of the table. We had less of a "show" than I expected and more of just cooking. Yeah, we had some spatula spinning and the smokestack onion but no shrimp flipping, no flames, nothing really impressive. Food was generally good, the appetizer shrimp were better than the entree shrimp, steak was excellent, chicken a bit bland. At the prices they charge I'm not hurrying back.

Act one. Waitress drops drink tray onto hot grill causing smoke, broken glass, the odor of burning beer and coke. Act two. Moved to a different table. Act three. Entertainment value good...especially for 10-14 year olds in group of 9. Miss the old days when shrimp were tossed unexpectedly onto plates, etc. Act four. Food ok. Very pricey for quality. Seasoning almost nonexistent. Did like sesame on zucchini. Finale. OK for once a decade and family event. Would make other choices for the money and for food.

Disapointed w coconutMohito, NO alcohol in it for the $9+. Price. Was sweet but no buzz.Service was good except for the long wait while on the table waiting for cheff to come to our table. Ordered Ocean....lobster,scalops,shrimp, not to my expectations since all of them had so much the same spice ,all tasted the SAME, boring! And over cooked. My husb, fillet mignon was delicious.

Two families dined together to celebrate their 5th graders finishing elementary school. It's been a long time since I've been because I never thought anything special of the chain, but it was the kids first time going. I will say the hibachi was good along with the service. Our waiter was in training, but had someone to assist him. The alcoholic drinks weren't that great. For the experience, I will say it was worth it.

Reservation was just upon opening. It was noticeably chilly, though understandable due to the hibachi tables. It did warm up with the food being cooked. Food was cooked well and very enjoyable. Probably a much better experience when a bit busier. Will probably not return, however. We, with our small child, were turned off by the hostess displaying inappropriate behavior with a friend at the entryway.

My daughter and her 6 teen girlfriends enjoyed the dinner at BeniHana. We had a 6pm reservation on the evening before Mother's Day, which was pretty busy. We were seated right away. Our chef was pleasant and made an effort to entertain. The food was good (not outstanding) with large portions and plenty for all. Those teen girls can eat! We didn't order any alcohol, so can't speak to that. Overall, it's an expensive place to go once in a while for a special occasion.

The food was plenteous and tasty. The presentation was awesome. However, the order of appetizer (put on plate last) and rice (put on plate 10 minutes before rest of food) seemed ill- timed and several items had cooled greatly before getting to eat. Delicious nonetheless.

The hostess had no manners and should not be in a front of house position. When we entered we were not even greeted but made to introduce ourselves as to why a family of 5 would be there. The decor looks cheap...what happened? The waitress was not bad however it was never made clear what was included in each meal so we had to wait until she told us the choices. Up-selling kids on a combo platter was not very classy. My kids never saw the routine of the chef so they had a ball. He had a more relaxed attitude then expected for the "show" and he missed many regular tricks. The food was terrible except for the steaks which were nicely cooked. The shrimp, chicken and rice were all over cooked and chewy. I'll never set foot in there again.

We were highly dissapointed with the service. The head waiter was on point but his helpers messed it up. The waitress that brought the salads didn't look at the table guide and rolled her eyes with an attitude when we politely told her that's not what we ordered. We were not given silverware or chopsticks. We were given "regular" chopsticks for the kids and again received attitude when we asked for kid ones. We were celebrating two birthdays including a child and the chef didn't do any tricks. The food was cooked to perfection after we straightened the Chef out on what we ordered. After notifying the manager of the problems he asked for the name if the cook, did not apologize and offered us "free" ice cream and take out boxes

We went to Benihana for dinner on Saturday at 7pm. They took reservations and we were seated about 5 minutes early. The server was attentive, and the chef had an entertaining way of preparing the food. The food quality was very good, and I was satisfied with the experience. I have had better shows with better food at better prices, but this was in a different section of the city, so I'm sure that the rent is reflected in the food cost.

The waitress seemed to be confused constantly. The chef was not Japanese as you would think... But Hispanic and had gold front teeth. Food was quite bland actually. I would recommend a local Japanese steakhouse instead of a corporate restaurant. My son wanted to try it for his birthday, but we won't be going back.
