Benchmark RestaurantWow Wow WowThis is wonderfu restaurant. My husband and I are pretty picky about ambience, wait staff, liquor, and food! And this place is aces all the way. Creative parings of ingredients, that are not only delicous, but make you wonder why you have never tasted this before. Chef obviously makes an effort to buy locally, and selects from the top of the local offerings. The wait staff is attentive but not too present. The bar has great selections of each kind of liquor and the wine list makes us swoon! Outstanding steak--they also serve a sauce on the side but I mostly ate without the sauce. The food is excellent, the ambiance warm and inviting, and relaxed, and the staff very welcoming. The rib eye was excellent, and the halibut equal to the best Manhattan restaurant. And their side dishes are wonderful. We also loved the cookie dough egg roll for dessert, creative and delicious. Warm welcome, nice decor, and well chosen menu. They did not have a table when we arrived on time for our reservation but they comped us a round of drinks - very nice.
