We once again had a wonderful after concert dinner at Bellini, this time enjoying the Bellinis offered to subscribers at Kimmel along with a 10% discount. Great BYOB, food well presented, accommodating to needs and allergies. At first 6 of us were seated at a table that was really comfortably for 4 and when we asked they very nicely added another table for 2 making it a very comfortable fit. I do think they try to squeeze as many people as possible in this smallish space that filled up quickly.

We were at a table for 4. There was a window table for 2 just to our side. The waiter had to keep pushing behind one of us to get to that table and even once asked us to get up so that he could reach that table. Poor planning on restaurant set up. Although the food is good and our waiter, Vincenzo, was excellent, I will never return on a busy evening. This set up was simply unacceptable.

Wonderful dinner before seeing a show at the Kimmel Center. Food and service were excellent. The specials had a nice combination of pastas, lamb and seafood. Everything we had was fantastic. The lamb melted in my mouth and the pasta dishes the others in our party had were also very good.

I came with my girlfriend on a slow Wednesday night. We were seated immediately and our waiter arrived fairly quickly. He was personable. Our bread took a little while to arrive and wasn't great. I ordered the fried calimari for an appetizer. It was well seasoned, but not fried well enough for my taste. We ordered a chianti, which we both really liked. I had a chicken dish smothered in a dark sauce, with walnuts and fruits. It was very nice and my girlfriend enjoyed her stuffed ravioli dish. Overall, it was a nice dining experience, but a little pricey for what we got. Our bill came to $75 for a 2 glasses of wine, an appetizer and 2 entrees. Not bad, but not great.

Very dissapointing meal. They claimed we did not even show and we were sitting in their front windown on time and for two hours! They screwed up the orders. And they misrepresented badly their parking situation...twice on the phone. The food was ok but nothing great. The pasta special with lobster tail provided a tail that looked like the lobster meat had been removed for a different dishes. The cannoli was one of worst we ever had; sheep milk didn't work! All in all a poor experience.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch with a few friends. Each of us ordered the lunch special: $14 for a salad and entree. I had the linguine alla bolognese and it was wonderful! Two friends ordered the mushroom soup and I was sorry I didn't choose the soup. The service was excellent. A lovely place for lunch or dinner. We are looking forward to return to Bellini Grill. It's only a few blocks from the train station--a real plus.

One couple really enjoyed their food, salad, soup & entrees. My husband & I thought the food was good but we were not as wowed though we had suggested the restaurant. We asked for seperate checks because we eat much less, no appetizers, & received them but they were not correct so essentially did split the bill. Wish more restaurants would do this automatically unless told otherwise rather than the other way around.

We recently visited Bellinin on Friday and left my makeup in the restroom. After calling Friday night to make sure it was there I was told I could pick it up the next day. When I stopped in on Saturday evening, the hostess was unable to find it and told me that one of the waiters may have given it away? Aside from that disappointing experience, we found the food to be underwhelming and overpriced. However, our server was excellent.

The dining room is pleasant and has nice Italian feel. The food - we ordered mushroom soup, ceasar salad, Osso buco, seafood pasta, and monk fish - was well prepared and tasty. But on this occasion, with only 4 or five tables occupied, the service was inattentive, drink orders were missed, and it took a long time between visits from the wait staff. Our meal took over an hour to prepare and serve. Our junior member ordered plain ravioli and it was cold - no doubt because it was prepared quickly and sat in the kitchen until the other dishes were made. For compensation they offered free dessert, but we didn't plan to order dessert. They brought it anyway. Overall, a disappointing experience.

We took a colleague and his wife here, one of our family's favorite restaurants. They travel and dine out often and they raved about the meal and the restaurant in general. It was a Sunday evening after an Eagles game, so there were many casually dressed folks and service was a slight bit slower than usual, but still very, very good. From grilled calamari, to wild black rice risotto with scallops and spinach, to Bronzino prepared tableside, to a decadent chocolate mousse, everything was outstanding. Love the ambiance and formal yet friendly service (including turning the inconspicuous TV with sound off our way to see the game). It's a BYO, which we love. Another great meal and evening at Bellini.

The dining room was too crowded. There are too many tables. We felt like we were sitting on top of each other. The person sitting at the end of the table was consistently being bumped by the servers and people walking by. Service was a disappointment. He never offered us a drink initially. We had to ask to see the wine list. Service seemed like such a rush. At the end of our meal, during dessert we were asked to leave. Apparently the next guests had arrived. I wasn't finished my coffee. Although the food was very delicious (our compliments to the chef), we do not have a compliment for anyone else. Place is good for casual dining like a quick bit at the bar.

We dined at this restaurant during restaurant week. I picked this restaurant based on the large selection of items to choose from for restaurant week. Most of the other restaurants did not give much of a selection. This is a small restaurant but the décor was lovely. Everyone from the person who greeted us to the waiter and wait staff were very upbeat. Our water glasses were filled whenever needed. I make this comment as I have been places where you have to track someone down to fill the water glasses. The food was excellent. Although the restaurant is small, we were not on top of on another so that you could hear other conversations. We all said we would be back. Great choice if you are looking for an Italian restaurant.

I went with a group of 3 for restaurant week. The food was delicious; my main course was ravioli stuffed with crab and it was amazing. The desert was amazing as well. It's BYOB, which was huge for saving money. The service was quite slow, but my group was pretty laid back so it didn't bother us as much and the food was worth it. The servers were very friendly and knowledgeable. The portions were a little small - I don't know if that was because it was restaurant week- but we all left on the verge of food comas anyway after 4 great courses.

This restaurant is not trendy. The vaulting, crowded and lively room harkens back to older days and has the look of a place for tourists...but everything I ate was delicious - I had brucchetta, mushroom stuffed ravioli and a canolli. My husband found his homemade, whole wheat linguine to be too el dente, but I think he doesn't respect that it is supposed to be that way. Our friends had monkfish and eggplant parmesan and they both enjoyed it. The service was very professional and attentive. Homemade ice creams were excellent. I would return to this traditional, red italian restaurant.

First of all, the décor is wild! There is a reproduction of a famous painting on the ceiling. The tables are a bit close, but that is because it is standing room only in this place. They just kept coming in! The food was great. I have had better Italian, but it was really good overall, and yes, of course, the Bellinis were delish. It's a BYOB, just in case that is not your type of thing. I loved it! Brought a great bottle of wine to compliment our meal. The comped parking wasn't really comped, so there's that!

Dined at BG on a Friday night during restaurant week. The restaurant was crowded with diners, but the service was quick. Because of where we were seated, did not really have a chance to take in the decor. Hubby and I chose from the four course menu. He had the shrimp bisque soup which he rated as good. I had the pureed carrot soup which was flat tasting; even hubby said it was flat which I've never heard him rate a soup as flat. He like the fried calamari and his entree of veal parm. I had bruchetta which was OK, and the chef's special of grilled tilapia on steamed asparagus; which was good. For dessert hubby had the cannoli and I the NY cheesecake. Overall not really impressed with BG; perhaps we'll try again in the future.

I dined at Bellini Grill for restaurant week. The food was excellent, I was so stuffed by the end but I wanted to keep eating. The restuarant had a good vibe and a lot of energy. Some odd points or points of pain: it took forever for the waiter to come by our table, I'm talking a good 7 minutes. Even after we ordered wine, the waiter was not very attentive. Also, we ordered wine for the restaurant but people were clearly bringing in their own bottles. The table next to us was pretty much forced to finish their wine because the waiter threw away their cork. Overall, it was a very good restaurant and I would go back.
