It offers a wide range of delicious Italian food and also accommodates Gluten free foodies. It has a warm atmosphere and was an all-over enjoyable experience. We had the good fortune to meet the owner/chef who happened to be a neighbor to the person I was with. We walked to and from the restaurant which was about 2 blocks and I even had on high heels!!! It was a perfect distance just so we wouldn't have to pull the car out of the garage. The food and service were great we didn't have to ask for water refills because the waiter was very attentive. They did run out of Reisling but brought a substitute wine for my aunt. I wasn't sure how they could run out that early with loads of customers coming in after us for dinner. The seating was also a little snug and I do not recommend the restaurant for children because of that closeness or the menu. All restaurants aren't for children! We're from the NY/CT area and are exposed to all sorts of restaurants but didn't know what to expect. As soon as we entered, we were struck by the charm of the place - feels as if you're in an Italian villa. The energy was upbeat and positive, the owner makes rounds to the tables/guests. The service was excellent - the waiters, bus staff, sommelier - all smiling, attentive, professional, top-notch. Also loved the BYOB feature. The food was very good - try the osso bucco over mushroom risotto! It is a bit noisy but we didn't have to scream to converse. This visit, we had arugula salad-highly recommend. Grilled calamari-one of my faves.
For dinner we had the ravioli-only so-so-I would pass. The ricotta was bland. My husband had whole wheat pasta pomodoro- which is thoroughly enjoyed and had enough for lunch the next day.
For dessert we had a cannoli-with chocolate-I was a fan.

The food is excellent, it's BYOB, and you can tell every employee wants to be there working and at your service. Bellinis really is the best Italian in the city.
