Fire pit in the center to keep you warm and amazing service. We ordered a bottle of champagne and our glasses were always being topped off. We started with grilled octopus (not the best I've had, but still good), then ordered the organic chicken and a salmon special. The food was good, especially the warm focaccia with fresh ricotta. The service was outstanding... adding heat lamps for us and also notifying my hubby that he had a mark on his sports coat from a recent bird dropping that we didn't see. She even came out with a cloth to remove it for us. We would return based on the service and relaxing ambience alone, but the food was good as well. Probably the best carpaccio we ever ate! We sat outside and enjoyed a meal at sunset. The ambiance was very nice, romantic and relaxing, with a lovely view of the ocean.
We greatly enjoyed the dishes we tried, which were:
Starters:
Roasted Sweetbreads: wonderfully savory
Kobe meatballs: delicious, though a tad salty
Entrees:
Chorizo and mussel rigatoni: Delicious with a spicy kick
Grilled local halibut: Very good with a nice bit of sweetness from the citrus
Dessert: Coffee and donuts, just melt in your mouth good

The food was pretty good but the desserts were both beautiful and delicious! However, be aware of the cost before you go - $155 for two people. Sit out on the patio with a beautiful view of the ocean complete with heaters and fire pit. Oftentimes I feel that they are given little respect and often overlooked on the service ..

When we are there, even for just lunch and not guests of the hotel, we are treated like royalty. The food is really perfect. I had a citrus lobster salad that was REALLY good. My only comment about the service, that while it was extremely attentive and friendly the food took a long time to get to us, and it wasn't really that crowded. But it was not a problem enough that I wouldn't go back there. I really recommend it. Our expectations were exceeded and we had a fabulous Sunday Brunch, with a feast that was exquisite! Everything from caviar on belinni's to rack of lamb, prime rib and custom made omelettes. Everything was superbly prepared, presented with a flair and delicious!
