"Food was good but service was extremely slow. It was a Saturday night but even tables seated after us got their food much sooner than we did. A complaint to the manager was responded to only with excuses. Very disappointed."

"An excellent Italian restaurant of the kind you'd expect to find in the city. A cut above your standard-fare, cookie-cutter Italian restaurants that emphasizes volume over quality. Service was outstanding and friendly. Atmosphere is casual but not "schubby." nice. Patrons all seem to be having a good time. A mix of ages including some children."

"Very attentive and friendly service. Sauce was very good. Salmon on the salmon vesuvio was a little dry . Potatoes were wonderfully flavored. The spinach ravioli were perfect with the spinach pasta and spiniach/cheese filling. Cannoli shells were very crisp and fresh, though filling was lighter and more subtly flavored than expected. The olive oil and cheeses on the table were ideal. Presentations were excellent. The restaurant is a very faithful contributor to community events"

"Having lived in the area and never having heard of Bella Via I was skeptical about eating there. When we arrived at 7 we were seated immediately. The waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable, even trying her hand at Italian. The food was very good - served in a timely manner and hot. My only gripe was that the dinner salad had far too much dressing on it."

"The restaurant was very busy (Saturday night and it appeared they were hosting a private party as well) - our table was being cleared even as we were getting up to leave. This was our third visit to the restaurant and we found the food to be rather mediocre this time (lasagne and chicken vesuvio). It is a popular place, so they're doing something right. We may or may not go back."
