But alas there were one or two glitches with the food. My rigatoni with Bella Sera's own bolognese was excellent but my wife said that the veal, in her veal pram, looked like and tasted like a breaded patty. The fried calamari with fried hot peppers was crispy and delicious and the accompanying marinara sauce was really good.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat PlaceThis place not only has great food, but they really no how to take care of their customers. I had a small group of 9 there for dinner and they catered to our wishes. The appetizers and specials were outstanding. I was concerned about the live music being too loud, but when I mentioned this, they made some adjustments and it worked out great. I have been here several times in the past few months and never disappointed. Two had parmagiana, one veal and one chicken and both loved them. I had a squid ink linguini pasta with scallops and shrimp in a fra diavalo sauce, also terrific. It seemed prices were a bit higher than on a regular day for the holiday, but everything was terrific and since it is a BYO, that holds down the cost a bit.
