Bella NotteI love this place!Had an early family dinner celebration for my grandson's 3rd birthday. Everyone is so accommodating and the food is wonderful. They had veal piccata on the menu, and though chicken piccata wasn't on the menu, they were happy to make the change. Portions are large, and we all had different chicken,veal, and pasta dishes and everyone loved what they selected. Great service, nice wine selections, and amazing value! The place has a warmth about it not found in a lot of places. This is a great, authentic, old world Italian restaurant. Very nicely prepared traditional dishes like chicken vesuvio, veal parmigiana, and fettuccine Alfredo were served generously. The salads were very tasty, as we're the fried shrimp, calamari, and ravioli appetizer.
Service was friendly and professional.
A moderately priced wine list complemented all of the menu items.
We will be back!

The food was delicious! The prices were reasonable and they did not make us pay the $3 fee to share a plate. And as the reviews said the half portions were plenty and could easily be shared between two people (if you are the kind of person that can never finish your plate). They were also very patient while we decided how much to charge our various cards!5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMHidden Italian GemBella Notte is easy to miss -- I passed this restaurant hundreds of times and never thought to check it out until I read a few good reviews on Yelp! I'm so glad I went -- the vibe of the restaurant is very relaxed, almost familial. Most importantly, the food is superb. In a group of 7, we started with a seafood appetizer (special of the day) that everyone oohed, ahh'ed and mmm'ed over. I wanted to lick the sauce off the plate but resisted this impulse. Most of us ordered pasta dishes, and everyone was very happy with their orders. I had the rigatoni with red sauce; the dish sounds plain, but the flavor of the sauce was outstanding, and the rigatoni was cooked to perfection. We accidently found it while moving our son into his apartment and have been back several times. This last time was for his college graduation and we had a small group. The prices are very reasonable, although I think the steak prices are a tad high, but the steaks are very tasty. The food quality is great and the wait staff is attentive. You need to tell your server you want the seafood platter grilled, in their balsamic sauce. Octopus, calamari, and shrimp..... delicious

We couldn't have finished the half orders much less the full orders. It was very noisy upstairs but there were several large parties. I appreciate the waiters accent but when there is a lot of background noise it became impossible to hear the specials. Food was wonderful....we got the 1/2 portions and couldn't even finish them. Our waitress was obviously an Italian mother, which I thought was great. She was able to recommend excellent entrees for both of us an selected the right portion sizes. We even had enough leftovers for lunch the next day, which is impressive for having only ordered a half portion of pasta. We had bruschetta for an appetizer, it was the best I have had so far. The tiramisu is home made and the best I have had so far.

I had made reservations for 5 for my son's birthday, when we walked in with 6, they were extremely accommodating and made room for #6. The waiters were VERY attentive with water, which is a big deal with some in our group. But not just with water, with everything else as well. They were very good at explaining specials and a very lovely group of people. Their meals are priced full and half portions, very reasonably. If you are going for a nice night out, get the half portion. If you choose a full portion you will have food for several additional meals. The portions are enormous. I prefer a table near the front window which is cozy and less noisy when crowded. The seafood appetizers and entrees are absolutely wonderful. Also, they serve the best martinis in town. The food was delicious and you can enjoy the leftovers for several meals at home. We really enjoyed the burrata special, but it doesn't leave much room for your entrees! The food was fabulous, the service attentive, the wine list great, and the atmosphere classy but unpretenious. Honestly, it was some of the very best northern Italian food I have ever had and I've had lots! Everything we had was prepared perfectly. I can't find one thing to quibble with. It was also packed the night we were there but our waiter was still attentive and the food served in a timely manner without rushing us either. You can valet the car or there is easy parking on Grand if its not snowing.
