I was staying at the Hyatt -- wanted Italian within walking distance. What a find! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Loved the carpaccio with toasted pinenuts. Everything was delicious and well executed. I will be back the next time I am in Boston.

Outside of business hours this place is very quiet, making a great romantic choice.

  • Stick with the paninis if you go...

Sorriso's had the space for a large group lunch (party size of eight) on fairly short notice. The noise level was so loud, though! Between the whirring ceiling fans, music, and voices from other groups, we could not hear either the waiter or people sitting across the table - that was an unexpected disappointment. Their bread and paninis are outstanding but stay away from the pizzas and pasta dishes. Rubbery, canned mushrooms and wilted vegetables made for unenjoyable pizzas and pasta lunch entrees. When the waiter was told about these issues, nothing was done about it, either (maybe he couldn't hear us because of the noise...).
