The food was really good. I was impressed they remembered (from my booking) that one is gluten free. Unfortunately, the veggie burger had bread in it so not an option. The lettuce salad is a must! The toast with the Barn breakfast is one of a kind. The double burger and cheese comes with bacon but we were served without the bacon. We called this to their attention and they removed the full meal from the bill.. Got a bonus as the youngsters spotted some celebrities. This was my second time and already planning to introduce it to many other friends. I have had both a Bat Mitzvah for my daughter and a Bar Mitzvah for my son at Bedford Post that were very memorable. Not just for the food ( which was fabulous), but for the beautiful setting. Careful attention was given to the outside as well as the inside.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMA True Delight...The Bellini's were wonderful and the portobello mushroomburger was absolutely delicious. My husband had the smoked pork that he thoroughly enjoyed.We plan on celebrating our 42nd Anniversary dinner there on June 26th.I hope the Barn at the Bedfort Post will be on the list for 'Restaurant Week' next year.Thanks for the memory.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat meal, Great ServiceOur visit during Restaurant Week was our first time dining there; it won't be our last! Their food is imaginative and delicious! Even though they were busy, the waitstaff paid attention to us and answered the many questions we had about the food selections.
I'm hoping they keep the Duck Confit Salad and the Mushroom Burger on their permanent menu since they were both outstanding! Food was very fresh and flavorful. The barn ambiance gave such a relaxing feel to enjoy the dining experience with no rush, but attentive staff. Smoked pork in a ragu sauce with peppers had a nice slight kick to it and minestrone soup was hearty. The mushroom burger was very juicy.3/11/2013 12:00:00 AM
