Not everything on the Restaurant Week menu is on Beckett's regular menu so I will just give a shout out to the items that are. Fried deviled eggs were yummy. Add a bit of the peppers to give a little heat. The Green Chile Pork Stew had such great smoky flavor and is very filling. I know that Chocolate Dipped Bacon S'mores sound a little weird but the combo of flavors work. A must from the bar is Miss Katie's Pimms Cup. It might be even a little better than the ones from Napolean's House in New Orleans. Chef Beckett has assembled a 1st class staff who are very knowledgeable and attentive. Great, lively vibe with excellent service and very good food. Appetizers were good , and while the green chile stew was good, it missed the mark just a little for me personally. Those of us growing up on New Mexico chile have a different expectation when chile hits the palate... not just from a heat perspective, but the flavor is unique as well. But it was good none the less. The pasta dish was unique and very flavorful. Desserts were the weakest link, in my opinion. They either tried too hard to be creative, or didn't try hard enough. The "S'more's" effort required a bit too much imagination, and the pineapple upside down cake had zero imagination. Sometimes these glowing reviews set the bar for high expectations and then I am disappointed....but not this time! We arrived for our reservation, and the host gave us the choice of inside or on the patio, warning us that they had a graduation party of 27 coming in, and it might get pretty loud inside...we opted for the patio, and it was good advice! Our server was excellent and well-versed on the menu. Our party of four ordered 4 appetizers and 3 entrees, along with 2 desserts and shared everything, since everything sounded so good...and every bite WAS delicious! We can't wait to go back! We are talking about contemporary comfort food with a twist and with enough sophistication to make it an indulgent gourmet meal: Classics refined to perfection. Very delicious and we would visit again. The restaurant looks great too. There is attention to detail and presentation, and service is excellent. We came with our 21 month old and she accidently knocked over her bowl of edamame (which she loves) which broke, she was so sad for losing the edamame and even for breaking the bowl. No worries. Staff replaced the bowl and brought more peeled edamame and baby was super happy and pleased again.
We were well taken care of and had a delicious meal. Any small group would be comfortable here as well as a couple. Our server was excellent (friendly and knowledgeable). The tables at the back of the room have the piped in music a little loud for us, but the rest of the room is great. The menu is fabulous, the chef talented. I don't say this easily. We are a family of foodies and enjoy cooking ourselves so we can be picky. We all loved our choices. Everyone treats you like you are family. You MUST make a reservation, however, unless you want to sit at the common table near the bar. I had the pork green chile stew. Too smoky for my taste, almost like a campfire. I took it home and "doctored" it up with a fried egg- if they don't offer it with an egg, they should! My husband had the pork osso bucco, it was amazing! The spaetzle was a little dry, the whole dish would have been better with a bit more gravy, but the flavor was superb and the pork cooked to perfection. The s'mores dessert is totally craveable! Overall, a very nice experience. The food at this restaurant was excellent. However, my husband is attempting to eat healthy and ordered a salad for dinner. When it arrived, it was laughable with regard to the portion size. For the amount charged, much more should have been delivered. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Our server was attentive, but not intrusive. The restaurant has a nice feel to it and, although it was busy, it wasn't too noisy. Our server was attentive and well-informed about all of the menu items. She took care of the special requests eagerly and cheerfully, without making a big deal of it. My only small complaint comes from the chilly temperature inside the restaurant when it was in the 90s outside. When people are dressed for hot weather, and the inside temperature is 70, it feels a little chilly. We requested to be seated outside because of the chill, and had to contend with sun in our eyes until it went down. The restaurant is energetic and has a great atmosphere! I loved that the chef is present and visiting the guests. Our server was very professional while still being relaxed. I felt like it was a dining experience rather than just a meal. I LOVED the deep fried deviled eggs! The chocolate covered bacon, caramel, peanut butter, homemade marshmallow smores were amazing!!! The entree menu is somewhat limited but there is still something for everyone and delicious. This has become our go-to place when we're tired of trying to find another special occasion spot. Some spots have come close and some have bordered on pathetic. When the check comes for $100 or more for 2 people and you're disappointed, you almost want to give up trying a new restaurant. Overall, we were very happy with the dishes including 2 appetizers, 2 pork chop dishes, a salmon dish, and a chicken dumplin bowl. The food was prepared almost perfect and the ingrediants used were creative and fresh. Our server was a young lady who was very knowdgeable and had pleasantly handled all of the questions to help with our order. A slight disatisfaction was caused by the air conditioned cold air blowing too much to our direction. It somewhat distracted us from a total enjoyment of our conversation and the food. It to was very good and quite creative. Sis had a burger, which she raved about, and was so big, that she could only finish half. I tasted it and agreed that the flavor was less than last time I had it. That was a bit of disappointment. There was more dumpling than chicken.My best friend had the pork chop and could not believe the portion size and excellent flavor. We dined patio, normally I don't eat outside but this was great.Beckett's Table can get spendy but to me it's one of those situations that is worth it.This is a cool place to eat! ordered the beef bourguignon shepard's pie (which i ordered and was very tasty. the gravy from the meat with the mashed potatoes on top was great) and short ribs entrees. friends said they'd order the short ribs again no questions asked.
for dessert had coconut cake and was ok. the brown butter ice cream that came with it was yummy though. drink menu had good variety.

We enjoyed everything about it, even that it's tucked away a bit. Our waiter was terrific; he knew the menu and understood how everything was prepared, from the cocktail list to the desserts. I enjoyed the best shrimp, sausage and grits since my last visit to South Carolina. I highly recommend the grilled cheese and tomato soup appetizer as well. Finally, the deconstructed s'mores were fabulous.
