A word from Beckett's Table
Chef Justin Beckett brings together what matters to him most: family, friends and honest, incredible food. With considerable help from his partners and longtime friends Scott and Katie Stephens and his wife Michelle, Beckett has created an irresistible hangout for his discerning Arcadia/Biltmore neighbors, people who expect comfort and sophistication in equal measure and get it here.

The same grounded approach is evident on the menu, which emphasizes Seasonal American Cooking in dishes such as Creamy Grits and Spicy Andouille Sausage with mustard jus, Pork Osso Buco Confit with spinach pancetta spaetzle , or Fork Tender Short Ribs with creamy mashed potatoes, sautéed veggies, red wine reduction.

Factor in the inviting bar, roomy patio and community table, and it gets even easier to follow the Beckett's Table mandate: Come Together.

Diner Reviews
  • "Exceptional dinner menu with artistic flair. Extraordinary service across entire team. Casual, elegant setting."

  • "When we walked in we thought it would be very noisy, but were able to hear each other throughout the meal. Service was friendly and professional. Chopped garden salad was beyond wonderful. All four of us had it, and all absolutely loved it. Short ribs, pork osso bucco, chicken were all very good. Coconut dessert could have been a creamy delight but wasn't - had just a schmeer of pudding on the plate, with a square of cake w/no or little icing, and a small scoop of ice cream. Seemed to be visual presentation prevailing over taste. Really enjoyed this restaurant - will absolutely come back."

  • "Food was great, but based on the ambiance of an Outback Steakhouse was very overpriced. This is not a great spot for a special occasion or any sort of romance. Our server was unhelpful and didn't ever smile. The restaurant was empty on a Thursday night."

  • "I supremely enjoyed the Osso Buco. It was our 25th Anniversary and the food made it even more special!"

  • "Being from out of town, this was my first time here. The locals in my group had not been here before either but stated that they were definitely coming back. Go for the social hour and try some of the specialty drinks. Get a variety of the appetizers, try the specials and get a variety of the desserts and extra forks. Everything was creative with good flavor and presentation."

  • "The service is why I would return. The food was good, however, I would not rate it as fabulous. Really nice wine list... I found the noise level quite high, not good for romance or have conversation"

  • "Half price Arizona wines to enjoy with dinner on Sunday."

  • "We had a reservation, but arrived about 20 minutes early. We were prepared to wait for a table, but were seated immediately. We were very impressed with our server. She had excellent knowledge of the food, specialty list, and wine list. Our water glasses were kept full and we were kept informed of the progress on our food preparation. We didn't have to wait long for any of our food. I had the heirloom tomato salad and my spouse had the tomato soup. Both were very good. I had the scallops special and my spouse had the stew. Again, both were very good. For dessert we had the coconut cake and the donuts. The cake was wonderful. The donuts were a little sugary for our taste. it was good dining experience. We plan to return."

  • "We selected the vegetarian options for dinner. Wonderful fresh vegetables and a stone fruit salad. Heirloom tomatoes ripened to perfection. And then we really splurged on dessert. The coconut cake was not too sweet and the ice cream paired deliciously. The chocolate included on the board was so decadent, but again not too sweet. Elegant and satisfying way to end a perfect meal."

  • "My husband and I came to Beckett's Table to have dinner with friends, and we enjoyed our evening thoroughly. The cocktails were excellent, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. We had had drinks, appetizers, dinner and dessert all under an hour and 20 minutes. That never happens! I'll definitely be back."

  • "So, excellent food and service - don't need to say much more but, of course, I will. Have to get the grill cheese and soup app. All the entrees are excellent - fish, pork, .... so something for everyone. Gluten free and vegetarian options as well. They were out of the deep fried deviled eggs - not sure how that happens but it did. We made a joke about it and ended up with a dessert on the house. Dessert are great also. Drink list is great - usual, interesting. Lots of local/made in restaurant stuff - so bonus points for that. (Looking forward to trying Southern Rail - Beckett's "new" place.) Parking is odd but I got a spot so I didn't look around the neighborhood for parking so maybe isn't not an issue."

  • "Really kind of disappointing. Not bad, but certainly nothing that approaches notable or eclectic or gives any sorts of reason to return anytime soon. The meats were fatty and greasy and the menu uninspired. Ambiance? Eh...."

  • "We found Beckett's Table in a copy of Phoenix magazine and since we have not been disappointed yet with any restaurants that have been featured in there we decided to give it a try. We were in LOVE with our first bite of food and sip of our drink! I had the Heirloom Tomatoes Gazpacho (served deconstructed) that was not only visually appealing but so delicious. My husband had the Heirloom Tomato Cheese plate that was equally delicious! Pork was on both of our minds when we ordered our main course and every bite was tender, tasty and complex. We ended with by sharing a Coconut Cake that was presented on a block of wood with coconut cream and chocolate ganache swirled around a sizeable portion of cake along with Burnt Cream Ice Cream...OMG!"

  • "We had one of the most outstanding dinners in recent memory at Beckett's Table. Every item was cooked to perfection. The only thing missing was a personal touch by the chef or management. We would have enjoyed sharing in the delight with him/her since such satisfaction is often rare. One thing to watch is the disconnect between the online menu and the actual courses offered. Overall, a wonderful experience."

  • "This is a wonderful place. I have been here three times and always gotten great service and terrific food. I am a vegetarian and, despite appearances, they take vegetarian food seriously."

  • "Amazing food with all American ingredients cooked to perfection. A delicious meal in a lovely restaurant. We loved the decor and the beautiful wood table. We would definitely come again and think the "grown ups" night on a Wednesday is a great idea - dine with the chef and have food/wine pairing, awesome. "

  • "We always have a very good meal at Beckett's Table, but on this occasion the food was outstanding! Standout dishes, grilled cheese with tomato and pepper soup, steamed white bass, short ribs and coconut cake. All were perfect!"

  • "Finally made it to this restaurant I had heard so much about. Restaurant Week was the impetus to go, and it was well worth it! Had the scallops for an appetizer and it was delicious and perfectly grilled. Ordered the fish special (yes, stuck with the seafood theme) and it was a big and generous piece of halibut, and was also cooked just right. The desserts are insane! Had a couple of different ones, but the Chocolate Mousse with cookie crumbles was to die for! Since it was a long drive home we didn't get to sample any of the wine list, so cant comment on the alcohol side of things. Nice setting and layout, but it does get loud in there when it fills up."

  • "This was our first time trying Beckett's Table and we absolutely loved it! The food was wonderful, the atmosphere is nice and modern and the wait staff was very accommodating. We took our 11 year old and were pleasantly surprised to find a kid's menu available. The cheddar bacon biscuits were amazing! We can't wait to go back!"

  • "My husband and I along with friends dined at Beckett's for the first time on a Friday night during Restaurant Week. What a find! This restaurant (new to us from N Scottsdale) is pure pleasure: food, service, casual ambiance. Make no mistake, though: The food isn't casual, but prepared with care and great respect for the simple, fresh ingredients. Nice wine-by-the-glass list, too! As a couple of us have hearing issues, we were delighted that our table location actually allowed for conversation without losing the energy of the room. Can't wait to go back!"

  • "I enjoyed the vegetarian/vegan options while my friends shared meat options. Everything was fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented. A crowded Friday night yet we received personal and attentive service. I am always delighted with the options and the results at Beckett's Table."

  • "When you go to Beckett's table, you need to realize that you're going to see some normal food selections..but the food preparation isn't normal at all. Beckett's table has revamped several american cuisine classics. The flavors in the dishes that each of my family members ordered were really good and the cocktails were also good. The setting at Beckett's table makes for a relaxed feel, but the restaurant still gives the vibe that you're eating at an upscale joint. If you're not sure whether to try it or not, you should give Beckett's table at least one chance. I could see my wife and I going back there again and seeing how the other food selections will be."

  • "Restaurant has a great menu with different options. They were creatively prepared and served in a relaxed open setting. No hassle just a nice meal with good pricing."

  • "My kids LOVE the chocolate ice cream here and say you need to save room. I had the gumbo with shredded smoked chicken and it was fantastic. We came here for the second time for Arizona Restaurant week. The menu is innovative and all of the food I have had here has been very good. The ambience is nice: a "cute" interior according to my wife, and not too loud. The shining star is the service. Our orders were taken quickly, drinks were kept topped off, and the food was served hot. Everyone there seemed concerned about taking care of the customers. We will definitely be back."

  • "Came here during restaurant week, for the first time. Waiter was great, food was spectacular! Chopped salad was fantastic, full of surprises, edamame, wasabi coated peas, just delicious! The cod fish was delicate and cooked to perfection, and the chocolate mousse - divine! "

  • "Relaxed but vibrant feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The AZ Restaurant Week offerings were excellent. Service was outstanding, very attentive. Nice wine list to match foodie options. Good for Vegans also. Farm fresh garden offerings."

  • "It was our first time at Beckett's Table and it was even better that I had been told. Fantastic food (best scallops I've ever had), excellent service and a great, inviting atmosphere. Beckett's will be a regular stop for us. "

  • "We had excellent service, I was impressed by how knowledgeable our server was on the preparation and ingredients in the food. The menu changes several times a year. The cheese and bacon biscuits with homemade apple butter were fantastic. H got the short ribs which were flavorful and tender. I got the shrimp and Andouille sausage with a side of grits. The grits were buttery and delicious and the shrimp and sausage was spicy and flavorful, but not overpowering. We got the cinnamon sugar doughnut holes for dessert and they were incredibly decadent. We didn't finish them and took them home and they made a great breakfast the next morning too!"

  • "My friends and I met for AZ Restaurant Week. They love that a glass of wine is included in the prix-fixe price. The scallops for appetizer were so delicious, I'm still dreaming about them. The bacon cheddar biscuits were larger than I remembered, but still tasty. I would come back. "

  • "Work entails me to travel around the world. I have experienced all foods and all services. Beckett's Table was incredible. I a few days before my father's birthday, I called to inquire about a specific birthday cake, within minutes I was advised that if the chef couldn't make the cake they could recommend a place to purchase one. Katie was the person I spoke to, she was proactive and reassuring. When we arrived the staff was warm welcoming and gracious. It isn't easy to wait on my family, my parents have hearing issues, Justin was amazing. He was patient, competent and helpful. The busboy was wonderful too, constantly refilling our water, picking up plates, and a wonderful smile. I don't have his name, but he added to our enjoyment"

  • "Never having been there, we tried their pix fix menu for restaurant week and we were pleasantly surprised. Service was excellent, the choices of food also terrific and the portions satisfying. The only negative was the physical look of the restaurant. Basic. "

  • "An arch "just fine" is about the best this gets. It was the first night of Restaurant Week, and the place was full as expected. Arrival, greeting, and seating were friendly and expeditious, and the table by the outdoor fireplace, even on a warm night was pleasant. Service was uneven: our waiter waxed poetic on the RW menu and his timing was OK, but we were twice delivered dishes we didn't order. (The busboy was the outstanding member of the service team.) The food was also OK, but there's a reason flavor gets the most points on Iron Chef and none of our dishes scored high, or had engaging presentation. Fortunately, portions were small. In sum: not bad, but not high on the list of places to return to soon."
