A word from Beckett's Table
Chef Justin Beckett brings together what matters to him most: family, friends and honest, incredible food. With considerable help from his partners and longtime friends Scott and Katie Stephens and his wife Michelle, Beckett has created an irresistible hangout for his discerning Arcadia/Biltmore neighbors, people who expect comfort and sophistication in equal measure and get it here.

The same grounded approach is evident on the menu, which emphasizes Seasonal American Cooking in dishes such as Creamy Grits and Spicy Andouille Sausage with mustard jus, Pork Osso Buco Confit with spinach pancetta spaetzle , or Fork Tender Short Ribs with creamy mashed potatoes, sautéed veggies, red wine reduction.

Factor in the inviting bar, roomy patio and community table, and it gets even easier to follow the Beckett's Table mandate: Come Together.

I've had my eyes on this restaurant for a while. After moving away from the area and always missing it during restaurant week I finally made the decision to have date night here. I must say I could not have been happier. I would highly recommend a night out at Beckett’s table. The cheese burger was amazing, the French onion soup was the best soup I have ever had and the macaroni and cheese will leave you speechless. I definitely will be going back.

Parking was challenging. Waiter was very attentive and friendly but perhaps because of the "energetic" noise level did not hear when I changed my mind and said I would like a glass of wine, pinot please -- so I had to repeat my order when the rest of our party had been served. Also got our desert order wrong; we requested chocolate ice cream, not coffee-flavored but could not find him to change it so finished it and it was fine. My husband's selection of the seafood special was nothing special according to his assessment, my burger could be summarized similarly. I honestly don't understand why people rate this establishment so highly. Didn't seem to live up to the hype.

1st time here and enjoyed our experience with our friends. We had great service, good drinks, very good apps, but the main dishes fell a bit short. The French onion soup was sweet and lacked flavor. The short ribs, their signature dish was tasty but a bit dry. The fish, while good, just not very favorable and would not order again. The stuffed chicken was tasty. The Shepard's pie was just okay. The place was pretty busy but not overly noisy and seemed pretty lively. A pretty mixed crowd but I did notice a lot of table with elderly individuals. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. While we would go back, probably not very soon as there are many other places we have wanted to try still!

The food was good - well seasoned/tasty/portions were right. However, I was looking for something more from all the reviews I read. The server was attentive, knowledgeable and polite. Maybe it was family style atmosphere with not so family style menu items and prices. ; I can't put my finger on it but both the Wife and I came away with a "meh" attitude of the meal and experience.

Beckett's Table, while not overly impressive visually inside or out, delivers big time in food, atmosphere and service. This was our 4th visit and we've never been disappointed. The Ossa Bucco was awesome - flavorful and very tender and the hamburger was just fine too. Our server was helpful and attentive; he made excellent suggestions and even steered us away from one item he thought sub-par. The wine list while not extensive, has some fine options. And, save room for desert - the fudge is to die for and the tart was crusty, flavorful and went down smoothly.

I have been to Beckett's many times, and it has always been wonderful. We went this past week, and it was not the Beckett's I knew and loved. The Kale salad was small and tasteless, the recipe for the brussel sprouts has changed and it was so not good. They use to be amazing. They were marginal. The Tuscan Shrimp dish was fair at best and cold! The only thing which was still terrific was the chocolate bacon s'mores. We were a table of 5 and no one liked their meal. The sangria tasted like syrup. Our server was nice but did not pay attention. My husband ordered a second glass of wine, and finished his meal before it arrived, we had to remind the server. Please get your MoJo back, I was so disappointed.

Food was tasty, with some downright weird twists. Portions on the small size -- ok for old folks like me, but might leave some people wanting more. Service was attentive, but it took a long time to get the food. Reservations a little odd -- I asked for a 6:00 PM reservation was told only 5:45 or 6:15 available. We got there at 6, and the place was only about 20% full and didn't fill up until 6:30 or so. We we seated immediately.

This was our first visit to Beckett's Table. My wife and I were very pleased with the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. We were immediately sat at the time of our reservation, and our server was friendly and receptive. The menu is full of interesting selections featuring local, farm-fresh ingredients wherever possible. The wine list is long and varied, but more importantly, the restaurant markup is very reasonable. If you love wine with your dining experience, this place is an absolute gem. I ordered the special of the evening, which was a perfectly cooked ribeye cap stuffed with spinach and freshly made feta. This was served with a farm-fresh ratatouille that was bursting with vegetable goodness. Perfect for foodies!

Our first time to experience Becketts creative genious and it lived up to the reputation. And the service was as fabulous as the food! Who knew deviled eggs could be awesome?!! Entres of shrimp, flank steak and short ribs all hit the mark. The dessert, s'mores of homemade marshmallows, peanut butter and chocolate covered bacon, were over the top! Great food, great service, great fun. We'll be back next time we visit Phoenix. Parking can be a hassle so go a little early to get a place in the lot next door.

We received an invitation to Celebrate Beckett's 4th birthday featuring a special 4 course beer pairing menu. The courses were unique, creative and just delicious featuring Az Four Peaks beers. Who knew that pumpkin, orange and chocolate go together so well. Or Kim Che is a great compliment to crispy pork belly. 3 of the 4 of us ordered the birthday special and was very delighted in sharing a special meal. The 4th ordered his favorite fork tender short ribs and veggie chop salad. Everyone left happy.

The "deviled egg of the day" is incredibly delicious, worth the $2. Mine had some kind of beer in it... Doesn't sound good, but it was so good I ordered a second! For my meal, I had the grilled 4-cheese with pancetta sandwich on Focaccia -- a $9 appetizer served with roasted red pepper soup. If I had been dining alone, I would have licked the plate clean. The focaccia was so soft it melts in your mouth like butter once you bite the delicate crispness on the outside. The soup is so fresh and just the perfect compliment to the sandwich--I used it as a dip.

I was with my girl friend. The staff couldn't have been nicer! The timing of our orders was great .The food was outstanding. We had the Feta appetizer and split it. It was a real treat flavors complex & subtle nicely complimented with the lovely vegetables & toasted bread. The braised short ribs are outstanding! Texture is perfect, flavor amazing! Portion is perfect too! Love the potatoes & broccoli! A truely outstanding dish! We shared the chicken quarter also. Loved the glaze, the flavor was excellent and the bread "stuffing" was delicious. A great dish! Really enjoyed it all. Would highly recommend to friends. My friend had not been there, but came away loving the whole experince as well.

We were seated promptly and had excellent service from all employees. The food was rather ordinary. It was OK, nothing to rave about. Three of us had the Arizona Restaurant dinner, while the other one ordered off the regular menu. His food was very good. The sea bass was good, but the combination of the other ingredients accompanying it seemed strange. The whole entree didn't seem to mesh.

Only fun! Food was unevenly prepared and presented. The sea bass was delicious, but cold. The bourgignon shepherd pie was just average. But the pulled pork and grits, the warm mushroom salad, and the cheese plate were very, very tasty. Service was warm, friendly, and informed but occasionally hard to locate. Wines were great. The room had nice lighting, great ambience and the perfect buzz. We will go again!

We were excited to try it for restaurant week after hearing a lot of good things about it. My husband and I took our two kids ages 14 and 17. My daughter's French onion soup was lukewarm and nothing to rave about in flavor. My son enjoyed the vegetable Pho. I had the sea bass which seemed a little flavorless. My husband and daughter enjoyed their Shephard's pies. Not the best choices on the dessert list in my opinion. The cheese and honey platter didn't have the variety that one would expect. It came out with two bries and one hard cheese. The sea salt fudge was good, though. Overall I thought it was not worth the restaurant week value that I was expecting. I don't think it showcased what they are capable of.

maybe it's where we were seated....near the back wall, with 4 other tables. the ceiling was lower and the acoustics were terrible. literally had to yell at my wife (and be yelled back at) in order to hear each other. we were both getting headaches, so we quickly ate in silence to get out of there as soon as possible. we both had the exact same dish for restaurant week offerings. the endive/mushroom salad, which i enjoyed; the seabass which was flavorless but the garnish was tasty; and the salted caramel fudge, which was also tasty but you need a spoon because the ice cream melts so quickly and it's tough to eat melty ice cream with a fork.

We tried Beckett's during AZ restaurant week. Decor is nicely urban, and warm inside. They also have quaint outdoor dining; however, it sits ON the parking lot. The onion soup was lacking; too sweet. The other items (no longer on the menu), a pulled pork dish with cheddar grits, a stew-like dish, and a desert nut/cheese plate were quite delicious. Quality food, fresh menu items/flavor combinations not offered elsewhere. But the portion size . . .well, we were stunned when they set our plates in front of us. (What comedians joke about at posh, gourmet restaurants.) We didn't mind paying the AZ restaurant week fixed pricing but we would not want to pay the full prices listed on the menu for those items. Might go back but no rush.

Grits & Sausage was very pleasant. French Onion Soup was bland at best, needed salt/seasonings. Sea Bass presented supurbly & tasted same. Shepherds Pie was average, needing additional spices to perk up dish. EVOO Cake was moist w/assorted nuts on plating... not our favorite. Fudge tray w/luscious accompyments was wonderful, however very small. Extra order - S' Mores Dessert to share - oooie & gooie deliciousness, served with chocolate covered bacon, peanut butter, roasted marshmellows & fresh graham crackers.. YUM All above comments may have been due to the pairing down of portion sizes for the restauranr week $33/person menu!
