Chef Justin Beckett brings together what matters to him most: family, friends and honest, incredible food. With considerable help from his partners and longtime friends Scott and Katie Stephens and his wife Michelle, Beckett has created an irresistible hangout for his discerning Arcadia/Biltmore neighbors, people who expect comfort and sophistication in equal measure and get it here.

The same grounded approach is evident on the menu, which emphasizes Seasonal American Cooking in dishes such as Creamy Grits and Spicy Andouille Sausage with mustard jus, Pork Osso Buco Confit with spinach pancetta spaetzle , or Fork Tender Short Ribs with creamy mashed potatoes, sautéed veggies, red wine reduction.

  • "Oh what more can I possibly say that they don't already know. I've been here more times than I've fingers & toes. I enjoy bringing in new people every time I'm there. Whether at the bar for social hour, the dining room or outside, I enjoy being taken care of by such a great staff. As always, I ordered the grilled cheese & roasted tomato soup appetizer, my fav! It's a classic comfort dish jazzed up slightly. However, I do wish for more pancetta. My short ribs were delicious but lacked the veggies. The server rectified that by ordering me a sm extra side, that was very kind :) All in all, I enjoy coming here & will continue to do so as long as I live in Phx! Cheers & thanks to the Becketts for sharing their vision with our community!"

  • "The servers were "nice" but in a very condescending way. Other than that,I really liked this place. I think next time I will bring my kids to terrorize the staff that will be fun for me. I was there with some girlfriends and we ordered several small plates to share. Everything was tasty and exciting. We also ordered the coconut cake at the end and it was sooooo delicious. I wanted to covertly order another to take home so I could eat the whole thing."

  • "I've been to Beckett's Table a handful of times and its always a treat. The atmosphere reminds me of a cool restaurant I'd see in Portland, OR with exposed brick and wooded beams. It has a fancy casual feel to me. The service is friendly and helpful in addition to attentive. The food is amazing! I never have the same thing twice and each dish has been so delicious. I'm vegan and been here with non-vegans and every time we both end up very satisfied with the meal."

  • "Some friends told us about this place so we tried it and the food was so good we will be heading back for sure. The cast iron chicken was juicy and packed with flavor as well as the signature short ribs with an excellent wine reduction. We had the grilled cheese and tomato soup which was simply divine. The cheddar bacon biscuits were over cooked, hard and dry so maybe that was a one time mistake but the overall meal was too good not to return. Parking was a nightmare and our server was often missing when we needed her but the host was so kind and pleasant with seating us and greeting us on our way out. Overall it was a good experience and we will be back for sure."

  • "It was our first time at Beckett's Table and we had a great experience. They have vegan options which is great. I had the beef shortrib and it was cooked perfectly. They were out of the burger, apparently they go fast! Went on a sunday and got a half priced bottle of AZ wine. Not a huge fan of AZ wines, but at that price, I decided to try. Their AZ viognier by the bottle was good, full aromatic wine with a nice peach overtone and decent minerality (basically your standard viognier). The wife had a vegitable plate which was able to be done without dairy and she loved it. So overall a very good experience I definitely recommend it to anyone in the area."

  • "We went as a group of 6 for a birthday celebration. Normally we would have gone to a fancier, upscale type of restaurant, but one of our group was just getting over chemotherapy, dealing with hair loss, and wanted to go somewhere he could wear a hat and still feel comfortable. But we wanted someplace with really good, unusual food selections. Beckett's was a wonderful choice. The environment is casual, but not in a negative way. It's more of a hip wine bar feel. The staff were all friendly and our server was knowledgable and attentive. The menu was diverse and delicious. A particular favorite was the grits with sausage and shrimp. Only one dish wasn't perfect, the pork. It was a tiny bit dry, but still good. We will definitely return."

  • "We (6 of us) were expecting a lot more from Beckett's Table-having heard of it for years. The service was very uneven-our server would disappear for long periods of time and we would wave for others-who ignored us-seems like they won't help you if it is not their table. The salmon was undercooked-they took it back and cooked it again-and took it off our bill-which was nice. It took forever to order dessert-and then again a long time to get the dessert-and it was not that crowded by that time. The food was ok-but not worth a return trip."

I had the coconut cake and the flavor was really good but once again the cake it self was dry. Sorry to say but it would not be on my "recommend to friends" list for a great meal..."

The red pepper and tomato soup was tasty, nicely presented, and a wonderful start. The waiter certainly new the menu, and the ribs with the mashed potatoes was really excellent. Although in an unusual part of Scottsdale-Phoenix area, well worth the trip. The Spanish Numanthia wine was a good choice to have."

  • "My husband and I had a great time at Beckett's Table. We loved our server, the food, the ambience and we got a delicious bottle of Henriot champagne at an excellent price. The owner/chef and his wife both came by to chat and check on our experience, which was very thoughtful. My husband ordered the steak on the server's recommendations. We never get steak at restaurants because we usually order things that we can't make at home. This steak was amazing- it has a really hard sear, was a perfect medium-rare, and had an incredible au poivre sauce with a savory bread pudding. A great choice. I had the chicken and dumplings which was homey and comforting and delicious. The fig and pecan pie is a must as well. Overall, a great meal!"

To celebrate a milestone birthday with good friends, great food and wine really made the evening special. and our wait staff (Pamela I believe) was phenomenal; they are always helpful and enthusiastic. This particular individual, who we've had take care of us on other occasions, continues to be one of the gems of this restaurant. We continue to celebrate milestone events here as it's a great location, comfortable atmosphere and worth the trip!"

  • "So disappointed in our favorite foodie spot. We've eaten at Beckett's over a dozen times. Our last visit will be the Last! Server was annoyingly uneducated about the food concept or dishes preparation. Anytime we had a question he responded with "it's good". I was explaining the menu to our guests. Food temp was off, shrimp and sausage swimming in oil. Burger dry and cold; usually fork tender beef was a tiny portion and chewy. Justin...what is happening over there?"
