Beau's On The RiverOur "second time around"Your timing is good. I was just going to send an e-mail. This was the second time my wife & I had dinner at Beau's and we enjoy very much the overall experience. The setting, scenic view and the clean elegance of the resturant are inviting. We had Ron as our waiter the first time and asked for him the second, he's very good. Your bartender also makes a great pour.
What we feel you need to do is revamp the standard menu. It's boring & mundane. You need to develope just a couple of "signature" dishes that bring people back. Like Nick Anthes had the grilled halibut. A couple items that people rave about, like to eat, but normally won't make at home. It is not inexpensive to dine at Beau's but it's very nice place to come and enjoy an evening.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Food Ho-hum ServiceAs expected at a restaurant of this caliber, the food was exquisite and the dining room was divine. The service was a tad off-putting. We were sitting at our table for a full 15 minutes before ANYONE even approached us. When the waiter finally did, there was no introduction or greeting of any sort, just a "what can I get you to drink?" Something as simple as "so sorry for the wait, welcome to Beau's, my name's (blank) and I'll be your waiter" would have been lovely. WE HAD THE CHICKEN ARROSTO AND A PORK CHOP DISH. WE WERE SEATED NEXT TO THE WINDOW LOOKING OUT AT THE WATERFALL. THE COMBINATION OF A SCENIC VIEW AND A DELICIOUS MEAL MADE IT JUST DELIGHTFUL FOR MY YOUTHFUL GUEST. I WANTED TO GET THIS YOUNG FAMILY MEMBER ACCUSTOMED TO ENJOYING FINE DINING.
