We had an amazing meal the hanger steak was cooked to perfection with crispy kale, and we also had the fish it was done on top of a broth with clams in it. Wedge salad with fried chicken pieces was the best we'd ever had! At nine the band came on and we danced the night away. Great food, wine and music, what more could you ask for!!!!!!!

Flies were annoying, waiter said management wants the door left open to allow easy access to and from patio. We caught a fly in the water bottle, capped it and gave it to the waiter. Wait staff very pleasant, chatty, which may be why service seemed slow. It's very much a neighborhood place, many regulars. The food was very good.

I arrived for my friends birthday lunch 12:30 reservation they first attempted to seat us near the door and the guitar music. I asked if we could please be reseated my request was not taken well. She finally 20 min later seated in the corner of the patio, a table that was avail prior. A waiter put a bottle of cold water with a dirty hand, the side of the bottle has a milk film on it. Next before anyone has offered to service us a woman came over and told us she had a large 16 person party that would be seated in this area at 1:30 and we need to be prepared to leave by then or be reseated again? I told her it was my friend's birthday and I didn't think we would be done in 45 minutes. The flies buzzed all around + cob webs in the corner.

Wife and I were doing a Staycation when a friend recommended Beaumonts. Loved the atmosphere and the "vibe" but unfortunately the food was not as good as we hoped. Nice presentation though but both our meals ( pork shoulder, and scallops) were very salty. We had the calamari for a appetizer and it was unremarkable. We are not foodies by any means so our standards are not unrealistic. We would still give it a second try though. Very nice staff and the service was great so a second try is in order.

This neighborhood hot spot was a perfect choice for a casual Saturday dinner al fresco, when an informal menu was what the doctor ordered. Cocktails were the real thing, and a small but well-balanced wine list brought the right accompaniment for her scallops and my "beasty burger" served on a pretzel roll. This is not a white table cloth and linen place, and the lively bar scene was just beginning a crescendo as we finished dinner. But a delightful server and fresh air made this a perfect early evening with just the right "comfort" food.

Found this place on the open table app, wanted a local place, dispite the fact that they were busy we were sat right away, we did not receive prompt service from there. Super slow, the waitress walked by several times without even askin us anything. The food portions were small for the price, they were over seasoned, just not that great. Would not go there again

I think being from Los Angeles, you forget how simple a great eating experience can really be. There was no fuss, no fighting for parking, and no pretentiousness, which is the hallmark for the area. The waitstaff was extremely nice, but the standout was the food. It's one of those places where if you're not picking from each other's plates, you're missing out AND the prices were reasonable. So happy we found Beaumont's. Definitely look forward to returning.

Used a quick Open Table check to see that this neighborhood gem and local favorite of ours has seating. All good. Arrived 5 min late, no problem. Our daughter specifically requests the patio (one table left), no problem. Wait staff lets us chill for five, brings water and bread and gets a quick drink order which arrives promptly, awesome. Order some avocado/edamame dip (delicious) and the "day's tomato (heirloom done three different ways - delicious) and a grilled artichoke - came perfect). Order up 3 burgers (house specialty) - all good. Only complaint is they showed up too fast (3 min after appetizers arrived) so if uber efficient has a downside.... Anyway, highly recommend Beaumonts as a solid experience.

It is Saturday morning, finishing brunch, after a family wedding, and needing a great place for dinner with my father and kids - I picked Beaumont's based on menu (something everyone would eat) and reviews. To start - great staff - friendly and easy going. My kids were happy. The menu was great - try the Korean Street Tacos! The bar offers great and inventive drinks. Everyone was talking about dinner the next day - it was the BEST meal of the trip (and maybe the best meal I have had in the San Diego area in years, and I can assure you, I will be back, next time I am in La Jolla.

The food was incredible. Started with the Cambozola cheese...YUM! The carnitas wraps are everything you expect from carnitas, without the heavy greasiness of most traditional Mexican food establishments. Be sure to save room for the bread pudding, some of the best I've had.

Chef Morris is extremely talented. His combinations/dishes are unusual and most importantly the flavors ALWAYS work. His dishes are beautiful to look at there's always a surprise party in your mouth. His pork shoulder was amazing but the sauce was out of this world. I can't say enough about George. We went there for Mother's Day brunch and had a great seat outside. Their outside dining is completely shaded without having umbrellas in your way and the seats are very comfortable. We spent our 3rd mother's day breakfast with a reservation for 5. They sat us down outside and didn't give us the option to sit inside. Our mom came in and they didn't offer one of the flowers to her. The girl at front was rude. The sun started blasting down our necks. We asked the staff if they could put down the blinds, and they said yes but never came back for it. Another lady said she couldn't do it. We were sweating over our food and couldn't enjoy it. My oatmeal didn't come with the raisins advertised in the menu. The coast toast was sparingly smaller than usual as well as the other meals. Also a dog was in the seat next to us, and we have allergies. Horrible experience. We'll not be going here for Mother's day again.
