The food is uneven: sometimes excellent, sometimes it misses completely. Expect to have long waits between courses - it seems the chef could use more help. The menu is nice with good staples like steak-frites - but there are not enough choices on the menu, and the specials are often the same. It would be nice if they decided to print a "daily menu" like similar restaurants in the bay area instead of having to wait for the waiters to "tell" you what the day's specials are....4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food!!! The food is absolutely terrific--I cannot recall when I had oysters as fresh and sweet as the ones I began my meal with. The lamb and garnishes were cooked to my preference and beautifully seasoned. The proprietresse is attentive to detail and solicitous to her guests; you could not ask for better service. Since my last visit, the wine list has undergone some trimming, but the quality and relative value remain intact.
