Founder André Saint-Jacques is the convivial master of ceremonies who presides over the lively ambience of this award-winning dining room, Best Whistler Restaurant in 2009 and the only Whistler restaurant to receive a coveted three-star rating from the anonymously conducted Where to Eat in Canada guide for 2010/2011. Andre’s passion for wine is clear as you descend and tour the Bearfoot’s extravagant underground wine cellar.
However, its executive chef Melissa Craig’s Modern Canadian cuisine that will leave you dazzled. In 2008, Melissa was crowned “Canada’s Best Chef” at the Canadian Culinary Championships. Her passion leads her to the freshest local and finest international ingredients to create an unforgettable experience.

Private Party Facilities: The wine cellar, located under the restaurant floor, can seat a maximum of 30 people for dinner or a stand up reception for 60 people.
The Champagne Restaurant & Bar can seat a maximum of 56 people for dinner or a stand up reception for 175 people.
We can also make our dining room private and seat a maximum of 100 for dinner or a stand up reception for 350 people.

Entertainment: Cameron Chu is a Vancouver born virtuoso pianist. His extraordinary technical ability combined with his deeply passionate approach has made him not only a performer but a focus of the Bearfoot’s sparkling atmosphere. His love for jazz and blues, which can be heard whenever he has a chance to project his colourful imagery through his swinging improvisations, is apparent each time he touch the ivories. The Bearfoot team is thankful he chose to make Whistler his home and delight our senses nightly.
