Beachside Restaurant and BarDo not Miss!!Went with the family for Father's Day brunch. Food, ambience and service was Excellent!! What a great surprise.6/16/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had 7 women and we gotWe had 7 women and we got a corner table tucked away from others so the noise level was not so loud. We ordered many dishes which we shared off the happy hour list and really loved every one of them, brussel sprouts and tuna tartar especially good. The wait staff was helpful yet unobtrusive during our reunion.6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and view! The food is fresh and delicious. The view of the beach and marina is the best kept secret in LA.6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome Waterfront DiningThis was an exceptional find! Located at the trendy, yet classic Jamaica Bay Inn hotel, Beachside Restaurant was fantastic. The view, service & food was absolutley perfect for my business lunch. However, would be a romantic, wonderful place to dine with a significant other or date! Loved the clean, crisp menu of brunch items (served all day) and wonderful entrees. Would highly recommend this to anyone who appreciates good food, service and our lovely California marina & beach view.5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMBrunch by the BeachWe enjoyed a delightful Saturday afternoon brunch overlooking Mother's Beach in Marina Del Rey. Menu choices were excellent and well priced. The view is lovely and we were able to linger and enjoy it. Service was friendly. Free parking for the restaurant is a definite plus.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Mother's Day PickI took my mother and grandmother here for Mother's Day dinner and it was just perfect. All of the food we had was delicious, our server was excellent, the view was great. Very enjoyable. Can't wait to come back for Happy Hour some time!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMPersonalized Service in Busy MarinaThe Beachside Restaurant and Bar could get by on its looks, service and food. However, this establishment went far beyond the call of duty this past Mother's Day. I made my reservations on OPEN TABLE with a note to the chef that our party would have two gluten-free members and a gluten-free vegan. I got a reply with an hour from the chef telling me that the menu had several gluten-free options (and that the staff was conversant in all things gluten-free) AND THAT THE KITCHEN WOULD PREPARE A SPECIAL ENTREE FOR OUR GLUTEN-FREE VEGAN. Considering that out gluten-free vegan is often reduced to eating potatoes and onions sauteed in olive oil at various Sunday Brunches, this was a wonderful change. Kudos to Beachside AND Open Table!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMBeachside Restaurant reviewWe dined several times at Beachside Restaurant and Bar recently while staying at the Jamaica Bay Inn. We were visiting from Northern California to attend a graduation at LMU. The menu is varied, prepared well, presented beautifully and delicious. We especially liked the Ahi Tuna Tartare and Tempura Fish Tacos starters. The pan roasted Pacific Mahi Mahi entrée is also very good. The Happy Hour menu is a great value and the view of the bay from the outside patio dining area is beautiful and well heated. Service was friendly with just the right amount of attention.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMTry it, You'll like it.The room is bright and inviting. Is waterside so you have a view and large outside patio. Had lunch inside because it was very sunny and they didn't have any umbrellas. The service was very friendly. My girlfriend and I shared Fish Tacos and a Western Cobb salad. Delish. Will be back!4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMVery enjoyable visit to thisVery enjoyable visit to this restaurant. Definitely want to go back when weather is warmer and I can sit outside. Luckily we had a window with a view this time.4/9/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place that is stepsGreat place that is steps to the water. Is a great mix of luxury and comfort.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMSomebody give me a map!Beautiful restaurant with beautiful view of the marina and beach. Service was great, food was great, coffee was great (which is a real plus for me). The only thing is it's confusing to find. There's a sign at the parking entrance but no restaurant sign over the door. There was a sign that said "for Locals" over the door but the door was locked. The restaurant is inside a hotel, and if you drive through the parking lot there is valet parking but the valet tells you to go ahead and park your car. Then it's a long walk through the hotel lobby, down the hall around the corner.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat atmosphere and serviceGreat atmosphere and service
