Beach Tree at the HualalaiBeauiful relaxed placeEven though you are at the four seasons the atmosphere is amazing, the food amazing and the service amazing. We are locals that have been waiting to be able to get a reservation and we weren't disappointed. I had the pasta with pork and that was great, my partner had the spare ribs and it was incredible! We got the chocolate dessert called the wave and it is probably better to share with 4 people instead of 2. Beautiful and delicious! Will be coming back to the Beach Tree. Excellent!4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMBeach Tree is located at theBeach Tree is located at the Foud Seasons Hualalai. It is located steps from the beach and has a dramatic view of the sunset. On the lawn directly in front of the restaurant kids are playing while the sun sets behind the beach tree itself. Every night they have a duo playing either contemparary music or Hawaiaan music. It's such a beautiful combination (sunset, beach tree, kids playing (yet not screaming) and music). In addition, the food is terrifc especially the fish. We ate here 3 nights out of our 7 and loved every night. Plus the bar is also fun and has the same beautiful views.

Live music, great cocktails, a beautiful view and good people watching - senators and movie stars sat all around us. It's actually both romantic and kid friendly, because there's a large lawn fronting the beach and the musicians and hula performer made sure to get the kids involved in dancing and playing while the adults finished enjoying their meals. Cannot speak highly enough of this magical place. The wine list is unusual in its presentation - the wines are grouped by price $20 / $40 / $60 and you can order a bottle, a carafe for 1/2 the price or a glass for 1/4 of the price. There was a special menu with a Tuscan theme cooked beachside. The only drawback is that the restaurant is adjacent to the pool bar and grassy area where children were playing ball and families were eating at the bar. This was not distracting but took a bit away from the romantic ambiance. The restaurant is beautiful..located on the beach with stunning decor. We also had a hawaiian guitar player serenading all of us during dinner. I had the beef short ribs and they were the most tender short ribs I have ever had! My husband and I were very impressed! Under the skillful hand of Chef Nick Beachtree puts forth flawles pasta dishes, including his gnocchi, delicate, delicious sauces and creative entres.
The wait staff understands food and wine and quality control is high, even during the busiest evenings, is spot on. The staff is always friendly and welcoming.
