First time at a Brazilian
Restaurant and ordering Rodizio - not super impressed! The food wasn't bad, just didn't have that "Wow" factor."

On a fairly busy Saturday evening,
our food and drink was delivered quickly, and our server was good-natured and reasonably attentive. The veggie pastel was delicious - flaky pastry, very nicely balanced and well-seasoned vegetable filling. The feijoada was sizable and nicely presented, with all the right side dishes. The shrimp bobo was ample and tasty. Desserts were sized right and not too sweet. Our caipirinhas were very nicely mixed. The atmosphere was vibrant but not too noisy, and the warm color palette of the decor felt great on a cold night."

Nice place to go if you are
looking to get a taste of Brazilian food. I am from Brazil so it was a nice treat. The rodizio is a must for meat lovers. It includes a nice salad bar and side dishes. The caipirinha (traditional Brazilian drink) is very good. My kids liked the grilled chicken and the rice and beans. The staff was very friendly."

All of the food was delicious,
with lots of rodizio and very interesting side dishes. The service was great, very attentive and the servers with skewers came around often. Very enjoyable Sunday evening."

Went there for Valentine's Day.
"All you can eat" was, "as often as we come around with the food"! Waitress was very nice, but has a few things to learn about waiting tables, i.e. bringing water, frequency of visits. The salad bar was tasty, but not much there. The chocolate fountain was set-up with fruit, but didn't work while we were there. We chalked it all up to the fact that the restaurant just opened, and will be interested to hear from others how their experience went."

Went here to celebrate my mother's
60th.Our waiter was really nice and I did like the modern ambience of the place. Unfortunately the experience wasn't that great for us. We were seated by a space heater and I really didn't think much of it until I started to notice all the patrons of the night were wearing their coats. Then I realized how cold I was getting and decided to keep my coat on as well. I asked our waiter why was it so cold and he let us know that the heater had broken. This truly made for a very unenjoyable night. A visit from management to apologize for the unfortunate heat situation to make light of it all would have been nice."

service was great. not packed,
server and meat guy kept talking to us. other servers not ours talked to us and even gave info on the V-day deal. never had a problem here, not sure why the other reviews always have issues. I think the inside is nice, its way more fancy then Rios in Nazareth and with better options."

I've eaten at Brazilian
restaurants both in the states and in Brazil. Batuque is the smallest in size and moderately priced compared to most, but the quality of food and service is also middle of the road at best. The chuarrscaria seems to require some scale and Batuque is very small. The salad bar is limited as is selection of meats. The beef was mostly cooked and seasoned well, but the pork was very dry and bland. There was no lamb. The service was the most disappointing part of the meal. It started out OK, and the servers with the skewers were attentive, but the waitress went MIA at the end of our meal and left us sitting there for 20 minutes waiting to pay the check. I finally had to walk up to the bar to get her attention."

The food was very good, the
problem is it was freezing inside. The ladies actually had to put their coats on while eating. There is a problem with the heat and it was evident on a very cold night. it was a shame because the place looks cool, the food is very good and the atmosphere could be great!"

Food was excellent! We opted not
to do the rodizio, but order off of the menu, and we were very glad we did! We had salgadinhos for an appetizer which was excellent and authentic (just as good as any party in Brazil) and the feijoada which reminded me my in-laws house! Bar menu is lacking quite a bit both in beer and liquor selection, but the caipirinha was excellent (also authentic!) If you've enjoyed Brazilian Steakhouses in the past and are looking to try some other delicious Brazilian food, definitely worth giving Batuque a try!"

Had our office party there and
everyone enjoyed it but for 1 issue.....it was freezing!!! We were all dressed warm but my toes actually were like "outside" cold! Food was great but would be better if I wasn't freezing. Salad bar was phenomenal."

Was excited to try a Brazilian
place that had options other than rodizio (I can't eat that much meat!). It looks nice inside, but the service was pretty painful. They did tell us that our server was in training (but they did have someone following him all night). Drinks sat on the bar for entirely too long (I watched one sit for 10 minutes). Our orders got entered and then no one could remember if we were getting soup or salad. Since the soup & salad took so long, our entrees showed up before we were done with them. Sad. Redeeming factor? The food and drink are excellent!"

Open only 5 months it needs to get
it together. Steak choice of filet medallions were not available and second choice of strip steak was of the worst quality ever. This is supposed to be a brazilian steak house? Recent liquor license - would not allow BYO, but their bar was woefully understocked and in particular the wine list, basically non-existent when all they served was one vineyard choice of a red, white, etc. Very disappointing choice for dinner."

The steak does not have the flame
broiled flavor. Chickan was tasty."

This was my first time at a
Brazilian steakhouse and it was a thoroughly fun, yet filling evening. We had a group of 6 and all elected for the 'endless meat' dinner, which came with salad bar and sides. Most of the meats were very good, but others lacked flavor and juiciness. The staff was very helpful and attentive, which was nice and crucial for a restaurant of this type. While I'm happy I chose the dinner I did, I don't know if I'd do it again. I plan to return and try other traditional menu items."

We very much recommend Batuque.
Great ambiance, food and service."

Both the food and decor were
wonderful. Will definitely go back. We dined early (6 PM) so the restaurant wasn't crowded. The food came out a bit too quickly. Otherwise all was good. Worth every penny."

We have been dining out weekly
with another couple for 7 years and this was one of the best restaurants I have been to that serve "buffet" style, i.e., you can eat all you want. They have a regular menu as well, but the delivery of roasted meats to your table is what I love. Although we were the only table being served, the service was great and the atmosphere was excellent. Their side dishes were also tasty but we refrained eating too much from there (my wife and I elected the rodizio grill) to save room for the good stuff, and it was good!"

We dine out more than a few times
a month in Easton, this was a very nice change of pace....if you do the same check this place out...if you are a meat eater it is a must!"

The restaurant has a unique and
appealing color scheme. It is well lit with calming lights. The separation of bar and dining space makes it very kid friendly, and there is ample seating in both areas. And the staff was very knowledgeable about all of the items on the menu, ingredients, the preparation method, and seasonings. They are also very friendly, and very present at all times to assist the diners. The food was prepared perfectly to specification, and the variety of foods and favors was very appealing. The restaurant is also immaculately maintained by staff. Within minutes of a table being left, it was cleared, cleaned, and prepared for another patron, no matter how busy they were. On a scale of 1 to 10, this place recieves a 10.0."

Very attentive and friendly
staff. Food was great and perfect temp meats for everyone at out table. A must try!"

First time trying this new
neighborhood spot and they got quite a bit right. The interior is well done with warm tones and modern clean lines. Not yet having a liquor license is a bit of a drawback but the owners know how to welcome their guests with a complimentary glass of wine. The bar looks like it will be a hot spot once they are up and running. The Rodizio was well prepared and service is well paced. I look forward to returning and trying other selections from their menu."
Dined on 6/17/2013
I would definitely recommend and
come back again. Food was very good and had attentive service. Unfortunately they did not have their liquor license but provided us with complimentary wine and was more than happy to accomodate us if we brought our own. Overall, we had a good time!"

For Starters, we went a few days
before they had their liquor license, (Lucky us!) AND their system had shut down so we could only pay cash. They offered four different complimentary wines, and we're very generous with them! We received quick (but not rushed) service. Our server was very sweet, though not the MOST knowledgeable of the menu. We didn't care! She got everything answered for us in a timely manner. All of our food was VERY delectable. Note- Everything we had was undoubtedly salty. In my experience, all good Brazilian restaurants are a little heavy handed on the salt. So be prepared or ask for low sodium if you aren't a fan. Dessert was equally delicious and we finished off with an amazing shot of espresso."
Dined on 6/7/2013
Meats were very good. Salad bar
did not offer many choices. Appetizers and sides took a very long time to receive but were good. Still new so will definitely try again hoping all the kinks are worked out. Tables seem very close together and could get extremely tight if crowded."
