"This was our second time in a month going to Batch and each time I ordered the same thing, amazing short ribs. The menu will change with the season so while I'll miss the short ribs I'm excited to try other things from this terrific new restuarant."

"Frankly, I thought the food was a little lackluster. When the waitress gave us the biscuits, I had to ask what they were. They were a bit dry. There were three of us and we split the chicken wings and the clams as appetizers. The clams were good, but the wings were boring. They tasted plain, with some salt and pepper on them.

My boyfriend liked his burger but he hated the homemade ketchup. I had the lamb meatball pizza. Being from New York, I was hoping for a thin crust that was snappy. This tasted like it wasn't quite done and was thick and stiff. The lamb meatballs dotted the outside circle of the pizza. Personally, I would have sliced the meatballs and placed them all around the top like pepperoni. Oh, I'm a private chef."

"Having heard mixed reviews, we decided to give Batch a try. The famed biscuits were very tasty but more of an amuse bouche. The special beet and goat cheese salad with kale was simply uninspired, with portions of goat cheese was so minimal it added no flavor to the dish. The octopus was flavorful but extremely chewy. The four cheese pizza was delicious however the lamb meatball pasta dish was bland. In fact, I bit onto bone chips in one of the meatballs which nearly made me gag. Delicious to the eye, the macroni and cheese was dried out and made me think of Kraft's macaroni and cheese with bacon bits. The place has potential but needs an intervention in the kitchen!"

"Went on pop-up food dinner night with Dan Moody. Amazing food with quite possibly the best desert I have ever had in LA. The new design is beautiful and the cocktails are tasting fresh and yummy"
